or even buy actual tips from informer/velocitytag (google).
I haven't been able to get a hold of any of these but I was able to buy some foam knee pad thingies at the dollar store and will be testing the soon.

I think informer sells darts and materials to make darts.
If the foam's too expensive for you, you can always outsource the foam and just buy the tips.

Also, I would stick to stock ammo if at all possible per your budget. This discourages anything more powerful than you should have at a school club. Like, for instance, all of the modded AT3Ks that I've seen.
