Thanks for clearing that up Janga. . .

Accord, i am an aussie, but even then im still up late. I dont sleep to well, and as a result i've been feeling stoned for the past couple of years. If you can decipher my rambling posts, i 'reckon you deserve a medal, or a chest to pin it on.

My school is full of party people, and one known insomniac, so if it gets real late, i know i can always chat to him on msn [or play hexic etc.] and possibly watch a movie from a limited range of DVD's.

Some people just don't sleep well, and as that stupid puberty video says, its the amount of hormones pumping around your body, constantly relaying signals etc. Just look at what some of you have got to look forward to, oh, and the acne.

edit: by the way, the names Tait, just so you know, but hey, call me whatever you like, whatever floats your boat :)

Ha, I know a kid named Tait. We used to call him Tastey Taters. Oh those were the days...

Well, anyways, back on topic.

I used to have a playful competition with one of my friends abotu who could sleep in the longest after going to bed at 1:00am. She thought she would beat me, oh but she would be wrong. I slept to 2:00pm, while she pulled out a wussy 12:30pm. We laughed... she cried... and I went back to sleep.

Anyways, I set a new record after that, 3:30pm. My parents had left at 10:00am or something, and the only reason I woke up was because my cat decided my mouth was a good place to sleep.

The longest I've stayed up was from 11:00am one day, till 11:00pm the next day. I was a sleep over, so I was up from Saturday morning (11:00am) till Sunday night (11:00pm). I think thats 24 hours. I was surprisingly not tired one bit, I went to sleep just for the hell of it.

As for just normal nights, I go to bed at 12:00am on school nights and wake up at 6:45am. Not alot of sleep, I know, and it shows in my limited attention span in school... yet I still manage an 85% average, figure that one out. I love sleep though. If you give me the chance, I'll sleep away a day. Sure, I have tons of things to do, but really, sleeping is one of my favourite things to do. I've slept 16 hours before, and I take regular naps these days, most because of my sleep deprivation on school days. My parents don't like my habit of sleeping past lunch, but as long as I get up before 2:00pm, they aren't too bothered by it. The only problem with sleeping in, is that you miss some stuff.

God I love sleep... come to think of it, I'm gonna go sleep again.

I hate exams.

Not in the game anymore, but it was great while it lasted. Thanks for the great years of fun, NH!

I am homeschooled (but you probably all knew that), and this is my senior year, so I can.

I used to be homeschooled.

Actually, I homeschool through an actual school. It's correspondence school. They send the course books, I do all the work. I send in my work, they do all the grading. I get a report card.

Pretty simple. It's like a classroom without all the people, and a teacher right in the books.

can you contest grades if you don't agree with them? I simply ask this because many teachers make mistakes, and you actually have to correct them when they mess up on corrections, lose your assignments, or even enter the grades into the computer wrong.

Yes, my mom ultimately has control over grades, but having an official report card and a school-written transcript makes for easier college application.

Just a question vintage, why are you homeschooled? I could understand if someones parents are a certified teacher or you really really didnt wanna deal with jerks and stupid highschool rules. Even then, you still kinda miss out things.

I was a sleep over, so I was up from Saturday morning (11:00am) till Sunday night (11:00pm). I think thats 24 hours.

I think you need a little more sleep, some basic math skills, or both.

Hmm. Me too. GO HOMESCHOOL!

~Halfling~

I can just imagine the cheerleaders. ;)

I'm nocturnal because I'm an idiot who wakes up at 10:00 in the morning. Not so cool.

10? Thats like, 3 hours earlier than I get up.

10 o' clock? That's like, four hours after I wake up.

I have no idea why I have the absoloute inability to wake up any later the 7:00 in the morning.

NinjZ, I homeschool, because I get a better education, and I don't have to deal with the crap that is the public schools.

And, since we have a great homeschool population in Minnesota, I have no lack of social time.

Late? Nevar.

I'm only up till 11 on weekdays, and 1-ish on weekends. That's compared to my Firearms summers, where I would stay up till 5 playing with whoever was active that damn early (late.)

Or my Diablo summers, where I would do the same

One of those might've been a Wulfram II summer

My summers kind of blank out after a while. I have this hunch that one involved lots of porn..

However, without fail (almost) I wake up at 8'o'clock to watch saturday morning cartoons in my pjs.

It is a glorious ritual.

And no, I don't care if most of the saturday morning cartoons now suck.
