sorry if this is not the right place for this, but i am very confused at the moment. i have done a voltage mod to me stampede but it doesnt work correctly. almost as if the gear box is moving the wrong way. i tried it on multiple blasters, but they all seam to do the same thing. what way should the spinning tooths move, clockwise or counter clockwise?

This has happened to me too, your voltage mod is too basic most likely. Try alligator clips or switching the connections(+ to - to + to -). Don't do too much or too little voltage. Make sure everything is in place and you might need to soader or resoader (some call it soldier) the connections. Though try to use capitalization and this would be best in modifications. You also might need resistors and should try to set it up similar to the original design. Just remember, the code of conduct, new users guide, and most common locked or warned posts are always right. The two mistakes you made will anger the moderators. Honestly, I would like to know too because this is the only problem I've never understood or was able to fix. Good luck hope it helped!

Okay, if the bolt seems like it is moving the backwards, you probably have the battery connected the wrong way; as Tangerle said. Connect the battery opposite to the way you have it now. If that doesn’t work you may not have enough voltage. The Stampede's original voltage is 9 volts, so if your replacement battery is lower than that, the gun will not function well; if at all. You will NOT want resistors, as they limit current and will slow the motor down. (unless you battery is ridiculously huge) I hope you get it working and if you have any more questions feel free to PM me, as I have voltage modded quite a few Stampedes to date.

Hey man, as the two users before me said, try switching the + and - (red wire = + or positive while black/brown/dark wire = -negative)
I did this once to a swarmfire, and almost broke it, before I knew what was happening.

Good luck
