Vinyl dye usually keeps the same glossy look/feel. So try that.I just painted the handle on my Longshot to fix some nicks in the paint, but now that it is dry, the new paint does not feel the same as the stock paint. The stock paint was glossy but the new paint is kind of rough. What kind of paint should I use?

Vinyl dye doesn't work well (if at all) on a surface that's already been painted.Vinyl dye usually keeps the same glossy look/feel. So try that.

Everyone hates engineers because they listen to what you say and then think about it.

So if I apply the Clear Coat over the handle, the texture will be like on a stock blaster?
No, it'll feel like clear coat. The only paint that I've known to be close to original paintjob is what I use, which is Games Workshop paints. See my sig for details.

Thank you for demonstrating the perfect example of why Nerfhaven discourages "what [ x ] do I do for [ y ]" posts. It usually is a lot of unsupported opinions with small gems of fact buried too deep in the noise for anyone to find anyways.i use game workshop so you could use game workshop
