So i thought I would start a thread about my favorite nerf contraption of mine for my first post on here.

Since i started modding guns this past summer, I have been obsessed with making things that are going to help me destroy zombies this fall in HVZ. It started with a modded nitefinder and ended with my most prized build. My working homemade nerf trip mine.

I was asking my friends what the next nerf thing i should do (because Im the guys that is obsessed with nerf guns among my friends) and one of them suggested I make a trip mine as a joke, but after thinking about it, i came up with a rough design that would work and started building it. Its basically an all pvc plunger system with a right angle fitting that three cpvc barrels come out of. The tripping mechanism is a little hard to explane in words, so im just going to post some pictures of it when i get my camera back in a week or so.

Im sorry but i dont have any pictures at the moment, but when I get my camera back, I will post some.

Has anyone else tried this before or am I the first one?

There have been plenty of trip mine/grenade/claymore designs posted on here, some more successful than others. However, keep in mind this is something you want to hit your opponent with, not TRIP them.

That being said, it would be best to wait until you can post pictures of some sort, explaining how it works/how you built it.

A trip mine is a fun idea (although has been attempted) to be sure, but you really want to stay away from having a thread that says you will post pictures at a later date or that it's not ready yet...the wielders of the banhammer aren't to found of that. Just a heads up!

This guy is correct.

Don't post threads of ideas, concepts, etc. Don't make threads for a finished project if you have no pictures. If you only have pictures put them in the pictures thread. Read this: New Members Guide
