In this topic, KaneTheMediocre is being mediocre and not selling his pink, delicious foam to the rest of the community. But, after many days of searching online, I found what foam he has. Here is where I think he bought it, but you have to copy the number next to the price and paste it here to purchase it. I haven't actually bought it yet, but it looks very similar.

Cons:

1. The website isn't user friendly by the looks of it.

2. You have to purchase it in FREAKING 1,250 FT ROLLS!!!

For you optimistic people, though, here are the outnumbering pros for his foam.

Pros:

1. PINK!!!

2. It's heat resistant.

3. According to him, and if this is his foam, it's very dense.

4. Also according to him, it has perfect fit in CPVC, snug fit in 17/32 brass, loose fit in 9/16 brass and PETG.

5. Not that badly priced, with it being 7 US dollars for 20 ft.

Yea, no. This is not the foam that Kane has. It's not pink, either-it's more of a red, and people in the NIC have been using it for years; Modman has sold it/is selling it.

I actually looked for a distributor in my area, so I could buy in smaller amounts. Sadly they only had 7/8s, not 1/2", but I asked about the color, and they said it was a "pinkish peach" color. Which is exactly what it looks like in the photo

I believe that's the foam shortshit sold in SoCal. It's not Kane's foam, and it's not very compression-resistant.

Cera-Rod now makes a new foam using XL-PE but it is grey, despite pictures showing it as red.

I'd have to disagree with you there. I asked a distributor in my area what the color was, and they replied "pink"

This is almost definitely the foam Shortshit had years ago.

And it was pretty much shit.

Definitely not the stuff Kane bought.

Good luck with that though.

It isn't pink i ordered it and it isn't pink also it is farely dense but it isn't circular it is Flat on the sides

This is not true. I have ordered some from Mod Man and it is indeed a pinkish-red and circular.

Your statement and his are not necessarily at odds with each other. Sometimes a portion of the roll gets squished.

I talked to -Delta and apparently you can custom order the length of the foam you want, if you contact the supplier. He bought his in a 40 ft. roll, so you could probably buy reasonable amounts straight from the supplier. Just thought that was worth noting for anyone who wants some.
