Hi all, I know so far I've been really only posting help threads, but it just seems all my blasters and such keep going faulty even with proper care. Anyways, I've recently bought a new in box Scatterblast (the green one, if it makes a difference) and I've been having some issues with it and was just wondering if anyone else had the same issues as well, since I searched for answers with no avail. First problem is that sometimes the air tank? bladder? (don't know what the internals of it are) doesn't fill when I pump it. All the directions are followed, the safety button is press down all the way, and it can take up to 30-40 pumps until it finally fills. Sometimes it works normally, sometimes it doesn't. The second issue is that I notice that when I set it off, air leaks from the safety button (both sides). I believe these two problems are probably related to each other, but as of right now, I rather see if anyone has advice before cutting it open and messing something up. Thanks fellow Haven-ers!

*Also, is the pumping handle suppose to be wobbly?

Define "wobbly".

It is an airtank, and it helps if you are sure that the button is really all the way down. After that, just pump fast, they like to leak if you pump slowly.

If you bought it NIB from a retail place, you can always return it.

It feels like the pump handle isn't very sturdy, like it will snap off if I apply some force in the wrong way (like if I pump too fast and bend it a bit).

I think that is how mine is too.
I'm planning on doing some stuff to make mine a shotgun, and it includes replacing the pump with a magstrike pump.

If it seems as though it takes 30-40 pumps to fill I would suggest taking it out and looking for a leak/crack in the bladder (or whatever you would call it for this gun). I have experienced leaks from NIB guns before. (My RF20)

As to the wobbly pump, most airguns are like this, at least all of mine are, the only suggestion there is to check if there is a way to reinforce it.

Given that you said here seemed to be air coming out of the safety button, I'm going to guess that there probably is a leak somewhere in that area

all the safety is, is a ramp that shoves into place, preventing you from pushing in the blast button so there shouldn't be any air in that area
