I just got a 4b and it was broken as i got it. The pump wasn"t pushing and air and was just sliding around. So i have opened it up and there was absolutely no seal on the pump. I got out my o-rings and put a good one on and lubed it up. Now there is a vacuum on the pump when you pull it back. What should I do?

You could always make it into an SVT4B.(replacing the pump and putting it in the front of the blaster and minimizing it) Link: http://nerfhaven.com...showtopic=20524

Your O-rings must be too much, try taking one out and see if it works.

Your new o-ring is too thick. The section where the O-Ring sits is thinner on one end, thicker on the other. When you pump, it slides onto the thicker end, flaring it outward and creating a seal against the pump tube. When you pull back on the pump, it slides forward onto the thinner section and breaks the seal, allowing air to come in. The tolerances on the O-Ring are fairly tight, unfortunately.
