Has anyone else experimented with this before? If so, what have their results been? If not, what do the wiser, more experienced modding minds make of this idea?
Cheers!

Also my maverick, does jam so much more often with the ar removal, and it jams, like every 6 shots....
So be warned...
anyways, have fun modding!

You won't learn anything if you don't experiment.

A Maverick is cheap, just go ahead and experiment, you don't need to obtain approval from here.

I always strongly recommend against Mavericks because they may turn off people from modding. Of course, you don't need our permission to mod a Maverick, but... advice was asked for, and I gave a strong recommendation.

I can actually vouch for what Beaver is saying; I modded a friends Mav once and drilled out the ARs. When I put it back together, it hardly shot two feet. Now he refuses to let me mod any of his blasters for him. So, yeah, just buy an NF.I always strongly recommend against Mavericks because they may turn off people from modding. The general rule here is to do some experimenting yourself; what you read from others won't really teach you what is effective and what isn't.
That would be very useful to put in the new users survival guide, along with other edits.
