You're new to Nerf, or at least that's what I've seen, and these boards are nowhere near as busy as NHQ's, but I think we have more quality posts here, that's just my opinion. What do you want, quality or quantity?I think we need to encourage people on other nerf sites to join Nerfhaven. It's really not going anywhere , no one has posted for 4 days.

Our members have made a total of 2319 posts We have 147 registered members The newest member is Jcizcomin Most users ever online was 59 on Jan 13 2003, 08:01 AM
2319 posts in about 2 and a half months. I doubt there were ever 4 days in which nobody posted.
From the logs...
Average unique visitors per day:
March: 250
Feb: 202
Jan: 152
At our current rate of growth we should be up to old-skool-NO traffic levels before our first birthday.
In the last three days I've approved 9 new members.
That said, have you even looked at the rest of this site? There's more to it than the forums and everything on NH is the best you'll find anywhere. You have made 3 relatively useless posts so if you want this site to grow faster than it already is, why don't you contribute something intelligent?

He he, a lot of people have told me, and I'm sure Cxwq and Spoon have heard their share too, that they love the small atmostphere of this site. They beg me to keep it small and comfortable for reasons of quality. I tell them all the same thing, fuck no. I too love the atmosphere of NH but small and selective is not the vision I had for this site, and I don't think it's one cqwq shares either. I mean, where's the challenge in that? We want this thing to be as big as we can get it; we love fucking recognition. Ya' see we think that we can do this and maintain the high quality of this site, and THAT will be our trademark. The Karma system is obviously one means of achieving this, but the other is just pure attitude. If we demand intelligence and a certain level of maturity (well maybe that isn't the right word), and simply do not provide any outlet or reinforcement for stupidity than we can keep this site a great deal like you see it now. Besides, Spoon think about the listserve. Running a tight ship is my speacialty, even though I may be a kinder gentler Vacc.

Despite the fact that I spend much more time here than NHQ, the vast majority of my posts at NHQ seem to be devoted to telling people how stupid they are. On NH there are (a) fewer idiots, and (b) more people with a clue who are unafraid to speak their mind.OOO!!!! Squirrel just got owned! By C!
I fucking love it.

Nice touch, cxwq.I fucking love it.
Anyways, there are a lot more intelligent Nerfers here, and I do like the small community. NC is really slow right now, and on NHQ I can post something and come back an hour later and there will be 20 new replies, most of which aren't worth reading.
But NH won't stay this size forever. NC is the biggest forum, and this is how it started. In two years there will probably be thousands of members on this site. Just look at the bright side: by that time we'll all be vets that can own those n00bs.

The funny thing is, to the best of my recollection so far, you aren't considered one of the stellar members of NHQ. Every post I see by you is either in Off-Topic or includes something about ebay or Hasbro. Now I'm basing that completely on observed posts and scanning through the first few pages of your recent posts. I would also say that you do post quite a bit on NHQ as far as I have seen. You have every right to call me a misinformed idiot, but that's my story and I'm sticking to it. Just an observation from someone who's opinion doesn't really matterAnyways, there are a lot more intelligent Nerfers here, and I do like the small community. As far as this site goes, I view it all the time. I enjoy reading intelligent posts by nerfers and the general antics that sometimes emerge from the members here. It is much quieter than the bustling NHQ and the members for the most part are better informed, and most importantly can construct a coherent sentence. I'm hoping to post here a little more often if my free time allows.

At least my threads aren't that dumb. And about me posting too much here at NerfHaven, I've been a member for nine days, guys. 22 posts, a little more than 2 posts a day. I speak my opinion when I want to.
So lay off.

Who the fuck is going to give one up?
Now it annoys me when people do that. I really like what Groove said at the end of his comic. I think it was "We Need This" strip.

blackblade, you have been on this site for 4 days, and you have 45 posts. there are maybe 2 worth reading. about half of them can be answered using the different sections of this site alone. mrgrinch and jrbill2006 have been doing the same, but not quite up at the same rate. i am sure all three of you have great things to say, but seriously, chill out. you three are the reason i almost edited my comment about not having to filter through complete 'crap for posts' on this site. please look around for the answer before you put 4 topics in the same forum, and are the sole owner of all 6 replies in each (i know that is an exaggeration). if the kharma system were here, my browser wouldn't even let me look at your posts.

Well, just try to chill out a little. By no means are we against high post-counts, but we generally try to follow one basic rule: if you've nothing constructive or amusing to say, don't bother posting. I find that following this simple rule will cause people to actually read and consider what one writes.man I'm just bored as hell.
