I hate doing this but, do any of you know how the superlative snap plunger head seals better?
with the 1"1/8 washer in the front or back of the 1"1/4 washer?
Ive seen people doing it both ways but I don't know which ones better and
I've always used skirt seals until I came across a budget.

I prefer to have the 1.5 behind the 1.25.

I don't know if one method seals better, but I can tell you that the 1.25" washer is supposed to be in front of the 1.5". It helps cushion it from the "cookie cutter" effect that happens when you tighten the finishing washer.

I like having the 1.5 sandwiched between two 1.25. The front one is more important, since it acts as padding. I use the second one on the back as additional padding to prevent it from shearing against the washer.

As for your first question: no, the type of catch ramp you use has no appreciable effect on seal. You can get a perfect seal with both methods.
