I recently brass barreled my longshot, along with adding two springs, and it got ranges of 120'+ angled. after a few shots though I noticed the ranges dropping down to about 80'. so I went and opened it up and it had worn the lubricant off. now Ive tried multiple lubricants already but cant seem to find one that works. so I was wondering what lubricant any of you would reccomend for a longshot?

With such a strong spring, you could use white Lithium grease. It is pretty thick, so you can only use it in guns with powerful springs. I have found it to provide great lubrication, and it doesn’t make o-rings swell up.

Thank you for the suggestions, I tried some liquid wrench spray lube to no avail, I think I saw some teflon dry lube in the cupboard though so Ill try that and get back to you. @hamoidar I think thats originally what I had on there, but I didnt put nearly enough on for it to last.

I prefer OMW grease tubes myself. They really hunted down the best. A $2.50 tube goes a looooong way, and you know its not going to harm your blaster.

I personally use Superlube. Although it's a bit pricey ( $7.00 for a 3 oz ) I've found it works great for projects like this and lasts a long time.

Not sure if you solved your problem or not, but I use silicone grease I bought off Lowes.com. LINK
I also tried white lithium grease, but I didn't like it as much. Plus, White lithium grease has a small amount of petroleum which will over time destroy your internals and/or o-ring. The stuff in the link goes a long way and is what I use in my longshot.
