MAYHEM
Illinois Nerf War!

Mayhem is a new series of Central Illinois Nerf Wars that PROMISES awesomeness. Wars will be held within or around Central Illinois (Places within one hour from Bloomington). As of now, I am planning on wars in Bloomington and Pontiac, IL. Please PM me if you need contact information

WHERE?
Forrest Park in Bloomington, IL
As now, there is some construction in the area before you get to the park. It won't interfere with nerfing, but please don't hit a road worker. Park on one of the circle drives, but allow enough space for other cars to get through. The is a gravel shoulder you can park on.

WHEN?
Saturday, August 18th
9:30am - 4:00pm

WHAT TO BRING
-At least one primary and secondary. There will be a few secondary rounds (see below)
-Loaner Blasters (optional but recommended)
-Melee Weapons (subject to approval. Should be well padded)
-Darts. Stock darts, #6 slug darts, Daconis Missiles, and approved ammo ONLY. Ask me if you want. NO GLUE DOMES
-If you have those Magnetic Nail Sweeps, it would help with darts.
-Eye Protection. MANDATORY
-Mobstacles. There enough cover with the trees and playground alone, but mobstacles never hurt!
-Supplies for Games (balls, buckets, flagging tape, flags, etc)
-Stuff to Trade!
-Lunch and water, or money to drive to Dairy Queen or Mcdonald's (Less than a 5 minute drive. See Map)
-A Parent (if under 13 years old)
-FRIENDS! Even if you don't have a nerf gun for them, post here and someone can probably loan something out for the day
-Donations! This is completely optional, but beneficial to you if you plan on attending these wars often. I want to start a "community dart stash" of safe darts, so in future wars we can provide darts for everyone. Also for mobstacles and game supplies. Everything comes out of my own pocket, and the more donations I get will make for better wars in the future.

-NO GLUE DOMES OR UNAPPROVED DARTS
-NO OVERPOWERED GUNS. This is subject to my approval. Singled Titans are an obvious No-No.
-NO REALISTIC LOOKING GUNS
-NO ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES
-NO SHOOTING NON-NERFERS
-NO SHOOTING PEOPLE WITHOUT EYE PROTECTION

EVENT SCHEDULE
10 Minute Break in between rounds to pick teams, go over rules, reload, etc. Rounds will start at the time listed. Round length depends on number of attendees, so rounds will be repeated during the time frame, or we will insert a quick game of something else.

9:30am-10:00am: Setup mobstacles, introductions, rules, questions, etc.
10:00am-10:20am: Meatgrinder
10:30am-10:50am: Carpe Testiculum
11:00am-11:20am: Offend the Core
11:30am-11:50am: Zombies
12:00pm-12:45pm: Lunch Break, raffle, and dart sweep.
12:45pm-1:00pm: Meatgrinder
1:00pm-1:20pm: Capture the Flag (Same teams as Meatgrinder)
1:30pm-1:50pm: Wingman
2:00pm-End: Attendees Vote on Games, and giveaway.

In order to encourage people to come out and join the fun, I will be doing a giveaway! The more attendees, the more items I will give away! (All prizes are subject to change)

Not including myself and my guests...

1-5 attendees = Pack of 10 sonic darts and a 1/2" PVC Wye
6-10 attendees = Quick 16 (smirk)
11-15 attendees = PVC Couplered Predator Pistol Splat

There is no admission charge! Just bring darts, lunch, and your favorite nerf guns. And yes, that will be allowed. I do have a friend highly allergic to latex, but he will be out of town, so you're in luck. Bring as many friends as you can! I have at least 6 going, but possibly more.

If you want to bring money to buy nerf guns from anyone at the war, you can do that. Hope you can make it down!

I would be glad to provide it to anyone who needs it, and actually encourage it to anyone under 18 who won't have parents staying the whole time. Don't be afraid to ask! Aw! Thats a bummer. Do you have any others that may be interested? I can rent him an Aabow with an RSCB for $10. I made 5 for just that reason. He just needs to provide his own darts.

Also, yes, N-Force will be allowed as long as they aren't beat up and the plastic core is showing. Lastly, please be mindful with all Melee Weapons. No matter how much padding there is, they can always hurt if swung hard.

Due to packing restrictions for the trip to Peoria that weekend I will likely have no darts or side arms, as it is I am already planning on making barrels in the hotel, If anyone has any of these I can borrow at the war I would be very thankful.

My chances of going just dropped down to 10%. My cousin wrecked my dad's truck. He may not get it back untill Mon. But my mom may be able to take me though. It all depends on her work schedule.

I can probably help with that. You'll have to share a stockpile of darts that I am letting my friends take out of too, but it should be all good.

Yeah I hope I can make it. But thankfully my cousin is ok, he was just driving down the road when one of the U-joints snaped and he lost control and ran strait into a light pole.
