I am trying to build a mad ghost style gun, but I cannot find the kind of check valve he uses, the kind that look like threaded unions. Does anyone know what that kind of check valve is called?

I find pvc check valves at Lowes and ACE. The ACE ones are kinda weird, and I wouldn't really recommend them, at least the brand my ACE carries. Lowes has these, which are pretty nice. As for the threaded thing, I've never seen check valves that come apart like his. They're probably a Taiwan thing.

Since he's posting from Taiwan, 3DBBQ uses different parts than North America. You may be better off checking out Flaming Hilt's excellent writeup of a 3DBBQ style blaster here.

Let me first say that my Lowes does have the check valves, but they do NOT twist apart in the middle as 3DBBQs do. That being said, I still managed to make a mad ghost with the Americanized parts. It just takes a little more tinkering with the trigger.
