There have been a few leakes from around the web of people getting their hands on the blasters via promo packs, but I am the third (that I know of) to get these at Toy's R Us.

I picked up 3 Retaliators and 2 Rampages today in Southfield, MI.

Thanks TRU!

But the question is, can we consider them released now that they are on shelves?

Did you pick them up on the shelves, or did you have to ask them if they had any in the back?
EDIT: Just realized you said "Now that they are on shelves."

Why are you asking? What does 'considering them to be released' achieve?

Because MULTIPLE people have found these in stores.

Yeah, this question is pointless. The release date is the first of August, so until then it isn't considered released. Also, who the fuck really cares if it is considered released?

I guess, if you think of it that way.

The admins do - they close / clean up threads talking about unreleased blasters, and for good reason.

For example, Zorn just cleaned up Greydon's Retaliator AR removal thread

Keep discussion to the modification and not speculation about where or when you can obtain the blaster. I've purged all the irrelevant comments.

From this, I'm reading the tea leaves to say that if you can find them on your shelf, then they're considered 'released' in a way; you're okay posting mods, internals, PJs, etc. However, if you don't have them in your grubbies, I don't know what the M/A team will do, but I'm guessing it won't be pretty.

They appear to be available on the shelves at several Toys R Us locations. We will not be removing any appropriate on-topic content related to these blasters. However, keep in mind that the product availability thread was closed for a reason - discussion of where they're available, how much they cost, whether or not they've officially been released yet etc is off-topic discussion and a punishable offense.
