Hey friends. Quick question, I'm working on my first alpha trooper, finished a power stock mod, and it's shooting nicely. My issue is it seems to be chewing up darts. Before I go crazy figuring it out, has anyone had any issues like this? Any particular tips?

The alpha trooper and the raider have similar internals, except mine was the exact same opposite, when it was stock, it was chewing up darts like crazy, after i modded, it the gun worked better (raider) i guess it also depends on the darts you use (letters on the tips)the darts I originally got with my gun were crappy, the refills were better, and they were in better condition over all with the gun (even without modding)

If you plan on getting new darts, try the "T" darts, they are a lighter color than most, and i got the "T" darts with the flip clip pack, but you just need to look through some packs for different style darts.

Explain. I've never heard of this terminology before.

I believe he's talking about the letters on the heads of Streamlines.

I had this problem with my first recon. Take out the jam door and then you can see where the dart chewing occurs

No mention of W streamlines? They're supposed to be even better than T.

Thanks for the replies. Strangely enough they are T darts.

Looks like the bottom of the bolt right when it is about to close is actually chewing the NEXT dart up in the clip. Crap. I'm gunna try a different clip later and see if its just the drum that came with it. The under side of the bolt has a "white" spot on the front as well. I'll take a look at that closer too.

Yes, thanks for clearing that up.... Anyways... don't want to be picky, but not all your friendly Nerfers are Male.... but can't blame you, most of the people on NH are guys.
