Since the swarmfires internals are so easy to swap into another shell I was going to pop one in either a needler from Halo or the Big Baby from hellboy.

Big Baby

So after the paper model is done I coat in fiberglass resin then bondo to shape

The problem is that the needler doesn't fit the internals very well and the front end of the turret would be replace the top front part of the needler.

For the big baby the part of the internals that lets the rack gear slide back would probably stick out of the back of the dome a little bit.

So which one do you guys think I should do?

I say do the Needler, that would be a really cool reshell. Maybe you could extend the front portion of the Needler a tiny bit and widen make a hole on top for the dart to go through if it's wide enough.

I vote Needler cause it's Halo and more Halo themed blasters should be made.

Its called Pepakura, basically you download plans for it, and the program makes a 2d printout of it, then you put the numbered tabs together and you're done

Heres the Halo themed file index

Heres the main program

You should know better than to make a poll thread for an idea.
