I currently have a big bad bow(bbb), and want more "flavor to it then just a speed loader and i wanna try something different. In conclusion what do you Nerf experts think is better for this specific application?
Langley thinks he's the shit, He will kill you for a couple imperfect letters. How's that for good grammar langley?

Well a normal 3b can't use a normal hopper. It would need to be a dead space removed hopper. A breech is ideal only if you are good at opening closing and reloading over and over. Your best bet is to make yourself a RSCB. There are many great tutorials on them.

Which of the two would result in superior range`s

A breech. It will essentially have the same ranges as your speedloader.

Well the breech would have less deadspace so in theory that gets better range. The RSCB goes down with each shot but even so the amount of shots compensates for the range loss.

I'd say go with an internally RSCBed 3B honestly. It's pretty sturdy, and you have about 5 shots.

Use a speedloader in your 3B, nothing else is worth the hassle.

Not to backseat mod, but this is pretty much a "which is better" thread, and those generally aren't well accepted. My personal opinion would be an RSCB or brithop.

Complete bullshit. Hopper would work just as well as rscb as the only difference is the position of the clip. Of course you will lose some range but that is just a side effect of hoppering any blaster. If you want to achieve maximum range I would recommend FA24's clip mod, here, which would be quite easy to get it to accept an n-strike clip breech. Whisper built one shown here. If you really want to go all out you could throw in this. My main point is that a hopper will work fine on a bbb so if that's what you want then go for it. An rscb is NOT going to get you better range and with an rscb you must shake the next dart into position. In my opinion FA24's breech is the best way to achieve maximum range with a decent ammo capacity.

Daniel as I've read has modified a dozen or so 3B's, so whatever he says I'm assuming is going to be some of the best advice due to his experience. In my opinion, I suggest trying Angel's deodorant clip mod. Once I get another Big bad bow I'll be trying it out for myself. It's at least worth checking out.

Okay, throwing my shitty opinion in the ring: you can nstrike clip it with something like a zbreech, and have it set up so that the motion of the blaster opens and closes the breech. Up to 35 rounds, minimal (because it's reverse of a normal) deadspace, and as fast as anything else. If you pull it off, you will definitely have more flavor than most others on the field. However, you will have to mod your clips to use stefans, but that's not a huge problem. Easiest thing to do it coupler it, add whatever you want through the coupler and deal with the nonexistent range losses from a few extra inches of deadspace.

Well, speak of the devil. I made my first RSCB today for my 3B. I personally love RSCBs for their low profile, rear loading, and ease to make. I'm a newbie myself, but I'm surprised how well my RSCB worked when I stuck it on. It is your choice though. Make what is the easiest for you.
