I just recieved the brass from Ace hardware in Hutchinson, Minnesota. They were very patient, and shipped directly to my house. For any Minnesota nerfers, there number is 1-320-587-8888. You might not have to dial the one if you are fairly close to hutch. Now that I have the materials for the breech, I need a spring. For [k26] springs I typically use the link on Coops youtube, but that seems to have walked off. The person this is intended for mainly wars indoors, so would a [k25] be enough power?? I tried searching [k26] and [k25] on mcmasters website, but to no avail. If someone could give me a part number, that would be fantastic. Also, does anybody know the compression weight of the [k25]/[k26]? I think the stock spring is around 2kg.

Your McMaster problem stems from the fact that [k25]/[k26] are simply the nicknames given to the parts. They are the last 3 digits of the full part names. As for links,

Use a K18. Same OD as the LS PT ID and still nets 100ft ranges. It's also a lot easier to prime than a [k26] or [k25].

....... I'm assuming that translates into same outer diameter as the longshot plunger tube, but ID?? and whats the difference between the [k26] or [k25] and the k18, that makes it easier to prime?? And i really dont feel like buying 6 springs.. because I can't charge the client for all of them, so then I have 5 useless springs, since I don't have a longshot...

Side note: does anyone know how to reply to more then one comment, but in one post??

"Same outer diameter as the longshot plunger tube's inner diameter." The difference between the various springs is difficult to quantify, but I suggest you look around this site a bit more before posting - there exist topics for these kinds of problems. To actually answer your question, I know that the [k26] and [k25] are similarly sized but slightly different, and have different spring-constants (a measure of the force of the spring). I don't know anything about the k18, but after looking at Mcmaster, it's just a smaller/weaker spring. Weaker will usually mean easier to prime, but spring diameter and wire gauge also have an effect on that as far as I can tell.

If it's mainly for indoor wars, you probably don't need either a [k25] or [k26], though I can't say which replacement is best. I've heard that the [k26] especially can break bolt sleds. You might want to look into Orange Mod Works, they sell springs that they have checked on various blasters, including the Longshot.

Use the "multi-quote" button at the bottom right of every post. Alternitively, use the board code "[ quote ]" and "[ / quote ]" without the spaces. Or just quote one of the people you want to quote and then copy-paste the text to a word document or your new quote.

I am personally outraged at your lack of embedded links, especially when we have such a great interface for making them on this site. Click the link-shaped button next to the smiley button when you're posting and it will walk you through it. Otherwise, type '[ url ="" ]' and '[ /url ]' with your address between the ""'s and your link-text between the two sets of brackets.

You mad bro??
Your suggestions were very helpful, but maybe you should leave the ass chewin and such to the person who made the thread, or the forum. There is a report button...... Its kind of disrespectful to Langely and the founders who worked their asses of to make the report system, and then you dont use it :o . maybe I should use it on you?? Just speakin my mind.

Offtopic: don't bother Langley. This thread has already been reported.

Ontopic: McM links just fine. Just append your part number to "http://www.mcmaster.com/#", such as http://www.mcmaster.com/#9637K26 for our much-beloved 9637K26 spring.

A [k26] is probably overkill for indoor wars, but it's handy because it's actually smaller in OD than the [k25], so it will fit in, say, a TTG where a [k25] won't.

Awful. Both of you.

fuckmonkey - I don't really care how jilliop posts mcmaster links, but I don't think Meaker meant for his 'outrage' to be taken seriously. Either way, there's no reason to get your panties in a twist over it.

taer (and anyone else who has their finger constantly poised over the report button) - You don't need to announce it in the thread.

First, I wasn' getting upset about it, and second I was joking about the, Maybe I should report you part. and I dont give a shatsticle how he posts links either. There is really no need to get quite so negative about something little like this. I understand I might get banned for this, and that would really upset me, but people have the right to speak thier minds. And fuckmonkey? Really?
