I was just wondering if anyone has made hopper clip out of a double wye. I was thinking that you would have a valve connecting the two clip sections so you could close the one you were not using to prevent dead space, then when one runs out you could flip it over and open the second one and close the empty one. I hope I made sense. The only problem is that I can't find a double wye that is 1/2 in. So you would need to use some bushings. I might try and make one but if you think this would work/ not work let me know.

I vaguely remember something similar to this concept. Instead of a double wye, it was just one wye that could be turned/moved to one of two hoppers full of darts. This way you shoot all the darts in one hopper, then detach that one and replace it with a fresh hopper. I wish I could remember where I 'thought' I saw this.

Either way, try your idea out and THEN tell us how it went.

You may want to look at taerkitty's ghetturret, the whopper(on the fomas2), or the hose splitters, I think (I can't remember his name, sonreecesaintjameson?) posted one forever ago in the mods or homemades thread.

I think that the entire mods/pjs and homemades threads should be read by everyone, I did, no joke. There is a lot of good stuff to borrow, even the old stuff.

I think I will try this I just need to buy the parts. I am going to be making a 2 11 so this would be perfect for it.

I found the post you where talking about. The only problems with his is that it is two actual hopper clips side by side, which would effect aiming and be way hevyer, where as the one I might make will have two clips leading to one barrel. If you look up PVC double wye you might get a better idea of what I mean if you don't already.
