So lets try this again. NJNO 4 - The first week of march seems like a good time to start, however if we don't get enough people or for some reason the weather goes to shit, The war will be moved to the 3rd weekend of March (as to not interfere with POW!.) Anyone who can make it is invited to join, but if you're under 13 I ask that a parent stay, or is at least close enough in case something happens.


Date: March 3, 2012
Time: 10-5 - I'll be there early. If you see a guy milling about in the park that's most likely me. For those of you who don't know, I drive a Silver Hyundai (soon to be silver Honda) so just look for that.
Where: Bicentennial Park, East Brunswick NJ (428 Riva Ave East Brunswick, NJ 08816)

Rules:
-Eye protection is mandatory.
-No singled Titans/Cobras/etc. (of course you can bring them for fun)
-I would prefer if blasters that originally fire ammo larger than a mega have some sort of OPRV.
-Barrel taps are of course allowed.
-Gun hits count.
-Don't bring all Black or camo guns.
-No age limit, but if you're getting annoying we will tell you to leave.
-General duchebaggery will not be allowed, and we will tell you to GTFO.
-No shields, no exceptions.

Lunch:
Lunch usually happens around 12:30 and lasts about 30m-1h. Expect rounds to go on while you eat. The park isn't close to too many places to eat, so be sure to bring lunch or be prepared to drive a few minutes for food.

Trading:
I'm allowing open trade, however this is not an open invitation to bring all of your shit and try to pawn it off. If you're trading when your name is called for rounds and you don't notice, you will be left out for that round.

Dart restrictions:
Don't bring badly made domes. If your ammo looks like shit, you wont be using it.

What to bring:
-At least two primaries
-At least 1 springer pistol
-Stefans (I'd say over 200 since we like to get some objective games in)
-Water
-Lunch or money for lunch
-Stuff to trade (within reason)
-A friend
-A good attitude

Game Types:
Most of the game types will be standard 3-15, Deathmatch, Pistols, VIP, Bomb the base, etc. We'll decide on more as the day progresses.

Edit: Hey Hero, I am a full on YES for the 3rd, if it gets pushed to the 17th I may not make it (my in-laws are Irish) But I am a Yes on the 3rd, John is still a maybe.

@KaptainKrazy I don't think melee weapons are allowed, but you can barrel tap for sure.

My BBB is ready... got some work on my Quad still, but yeah, I got the OK to war this year (provided that they don't interfere with plans or anything)

Melee weapons?

Guests are fine, and I only allow melee if it's a small sword or dagger, but it has to be relatively soft. No bayonets however. Hits to melee weapons count as gun hits, which count as regular hits.

I will be there if I don't have to work that day. It would be refreshing to see a new venue. I think some of us are so familiar with Babbage that we know how every single tree plays out in several different types of rounds.

I would like to make this one, but I would also like to make DCNF, and I don't think I can handle three in a row. I'll know more as it gets closer. Also, do you guys really want to do Babbage in early March? It's going to be cold, wet and muddy.

Running around will keep us warm, and as long as their is a few days of nice weather before the date we'll be fine.

Well NJNO 3.5 was exactly like that. And you saw we just put up with it and said "screw it, lets nerf!"

It was also an unusually warm November, and I was unusually graceful and balanced in spite of the mud. I will almost certainly get karma-slapped for that and fall in the mud when the ground is still freezing cold, even if the air is relatively warm.

Well with the way this winter has been, we may have some nice weather come March... hopefully. But if it's cold, the plus side I can look forward to is, I can rock out my trench and go all matrix.
