What are you lubing it with? Sometimes the washers will buckle if you don't use the right stuff.

If the plunger tube you're using for the snap is 1 1/4" PVC, then you need a 1 1/2" rubber washer to get a good seal. 1 1/4" washers are used to pad the front of the plunnger head so when it strikes the front bushing the impact is lessened. I havent made it but i wanted to know what i needed for it. i stupidly didn't realize that i needed a 1-1/2 rubber washer too, but doesnt it have to be bent forward to fit?Post some pictures.
