Money will be in before the end of the week. And as per the guest, is their a $5 deposit for them or is all to payed at the door?

Unfortunately, this time I cannot justify the time off work, driving the 7 hours down and back, with an overnight stay for a 6 hour war...

However, as someone who played in the first Grid War (Talio's War), I will vouch for the arena, and that it was a blast last time I was there.

Is there an age limit? I am wondering because my younger brother would like to come if I come. He is 11. He is pretty mature though.

Sorry, but that's not going to work for me. If you're not old enough to be on the forums, you're not old enough to attend this war. In fact, this might not be the best time to go to your first NIC nerf war. Between the limited time we have at this location, and the number of old timers that are going to be around for this one, it's going to be fast paced and not terribly noob friendly. I'm not going to tell you that you can't come (unless you're under 13 too) but I would suggest waiting this one out. There will be tons of longer, slower paced outdoor wars all over eastern PA and NJ when it gets warmer out, and there won't be an entry fee for those either. Take all that into consideration, and if you're still interested, PM me about the $5 deposit.

Okay, a little over a week left. Based on the deposits, it looks like we've got 16 confirmed attendees, plus I'm waiting to hear back from Redshot, and Hero is possibly bringing a guest?

Just a few reminders:

We're starting at 9am. If you are planning on arriving late, please let me know ASAP.

Admission is $15 (after the deposit). Don't forget to bring it with you.

We won't be having Lunch. Eat before you arrive. If you bring something to eat, make it something you can snack on during downtime between rounds, or be prepared to sit out a round.

Everyone will need to fill out this waiver. Please print this out and bring it with you to the war. If you are under 18, you have to have a parent/guardian sign it, so don't come unprepared, or you won't be allowed to play.

Bring eye protection. Eyeglasses do not qualify. If you forget, you may be required to wear The Goggles of Shame.

Make sure your blasters fulfill the range requirements and other rules outlined in the first post. Don't expect anyone to have a loaner for you, and don't expect us to let you play if your gun is over the range limit or on the ban list.

Oh, if anyone is interested, my group is planning on breakfast at the Waffle House that's around the corner from Grid Code.

Alright yeah Ill be there and I am riding with ClownieX and Robin Hood, plus said guest I suppose. Cant wait to nerf with you guys again!

Oh and one more thing, does anybody have any extra 18rd drum mags I could buy from them or at least borrow for the war?

I really wanted to post the "Mars, bringer of war" link here, but if we have new people attending, I don't want to give them false impressions.

Just a note that I will be there, and singing it the entire way up, and plan on spending the day with the pistol splat, the recon, and at least one flask.

Seeing as how I wasn't able to specially "de-modify" a blaster for this, I'll probably just roll with pistols most of the day (or the powerclip!!!). And if anyone thinks that me using pistols is a hindrance... well, you'll see how things will go.

Oh, and I found a small bag of darts leftover from Apoc! Huzzah!
