Also, on another note, I read in some magazine or another that they are introducing an SMG type gun that has a faster rate of fire than the assault rifle, but less accuracy, and that they are decreasing the assault rifles range, but improving its distance and accuracy.

You forgot to mention that you will also be fighting on moons and venturing to the covenant homeland. The Brutes as seen in the 2003 E3 demo are very large and hard to kill, especially sice they will have use of grenade launchers and a large blade on their right forearm. You also left out the covenant assault rifle,The Covenant Carbine. I am waiting more for the new vehicles and multiplayer action(as seen is in the 2004 E3). But noone is going to be able to resist cutting through people with the now usable plasma sword. I forgot to mention that each level an Halo 2 will be atleast 4 times longer than assault on the control room(the snow level), The engineers are harmless, and please call the more accurate assault rifle, the battle rifle.

Oh, and...Halo 2 is the most hyped up game in history

Half-Life 2 had exponentially more hype than Halo 2. Notably near the code leaking stage.

I just went to electronics boutique and they have this little poster with the MC lookin out of some ship. At the bottom it says coming soon, last time i checked that poster was there months and months ago. The books are also good, halo 2 is based on the first strike, i think.

Uche-uche, actually in my first post on this topic I did mention some levels would be on a Covenant world, also since someone had already mentioned the Covenant Carbine, I decided not to repeat what they had said. Hope this clears that up.

Oh and Nazgul_Lord, I'm almost 100% that it's not and that they are making a completely separate PC game of First Strike. As far as I know, First Strike is more of a prequel to Halo 2, just as The Fall of Reach was a prequel to Halo.

Yeah, I already mentioned the covenent carbine. There are also new covenant creatures called prophets. Also I've been hereing some talk that a new halo will come. (Or something with the flood). Will just have to wait and see. And I heard you might get to pilot some pelican drop ships, (I think there called).

Yeah according to some magazine or another (I lose track) there are definately multiple halo's and 343 Guilty Spark is making a comeback. Oh it also said there was an 100% chance the flood would be there too.

I read a magazine on Halo 2 and the people (editors) whoever wrote the magazine played the game online with the creators of Halo 2, and they said it was great, there was no lag.

By the way, is it coming out for Pc??? I (my dad) has an awsome 2.8 custom built pc, and I don't wanna go by an X-box just to play Halo 1 and 2. To much money.
