I thought i saw something about this before. I cant find a "post your longshot thread" I know theres one for crossbows but why wouldent there be one for longshots? I fail to see the point.
Why isnt there a longshot thread?

NerfRev kinda has a "Post your Longshot" thread. I think its more for questions about Longshots though.

Perhaps it is because the longshot is not quite the legend that the crossbow is, but if you really want a longshot thread, why not start one!I thought i saw something about this before. They're have been multiple post your longshot threads, I even started one of them, but they all get closed down for one reason or another.

The NR thread previously mentioned isn't just Q&A. However, it's rather gauche to extoll another site here, so if the OP is interested, he should just go and see.
As for this site, starting one is an option, but may cost mod/admin goodwill. I'm sure some searching will show the other, locked threads. Usually, the mod/admin locking the thread will post the reason, however snarky. (That is assuming the thread isn't already too dumb to let live in the first place.)

Modded and painted longshots don't seem to be as popular as modded and painted crossbows. Or maybe its just because some people willr age at longshot, saying its a useless and unnesecarily heavy gun.

The Crossbow thread hasn't been pinned for a while, and is now closed. It was posted by Groove, who's last two crossbows have been literal works of art. When it was first posted, many nerfers owned a crossbow, and all of them used it as their primary. Each one had a unique barrel mod, paintjob, and integration scheme.
Right now, I don't see why any particular type of blaster should have it's own special thread. We've got a Mods/Paintjobs thread, and if you want to see all of the longshots, you can just go to that thread, and type 'longshot' into the search bar. The same goes for crossbows, nitefinders, etc.
