This is a simple cpvc barrel for the Reflex. I am entering this into the awful mod contest.

Materials:

1. CPVC

2. Reflex IX-1

3. Hacksaw/ pipecutters/ good martial arts skill

4. Hot glue

Instructions:

First, Take the plunger out of the blaster and remove the ar:

Take the plunger and cut it right where it gets wider:

Cut a piece of CPVC as long as the original barrel:

(the CPVC looks short in this pic, but it is just the angle)

Hot glue the CPVC to the piece with the O-ring. Make sure the glue is flush with the orange piece or it wont fit in the plunger tube:

(this is before I figured out it had to be flush)

Place the plunger into the plunger tube:

Hot glue the front barrel piece onto the CPVC. Trim the glue if necessary:

Put the plunger/barrel assembly back into the blaster:

Finished product looks stock:

Extra dart holder:

Take out the back of the plunger tube.

Wrap cpvc in e-tape until it can be shoved in very tightly:

With a dart:

If your CPVC is short enough, the cap can still be screwed on:

Ranges originally 20 feet flat.

New ranges: 35-40' flat

Questions? Comments? Flames?

Nice work. Do you know of any replacement springs that would work in this gun.

Cut down BBB or AZTS springs work best in my experiences.

I like it.

But what I like even more is your constant writeups. Though, they might not be ingenious productions, they are easy, followable writeups posted by a member, which is a good quality. Keep up the good work.

Thanks, I like to hear feedback. I am getting 2 tek 4s, an ultimate berserker, a hydro cannon, and a rads 12 for Christmas. That means more writeups! Yay! lol

I agree with this wholeheartedly. Many of these blasters have been modded to (nearly) every extreme possible, but it's nice when someone does a writeup that is concise, well organized, and actually works. Posts like this deserve to be listed at the top of each Directory section, as the starting example for people to follow.
