As of tonight the App has been submitted to Apple. It usually takes the review team 8-10 days to review apps, so it'll be up soon!

The app is now Approved, download now!

Hey all,


I've been a member here for awhile, and I figured now would be a good time to give back.


I am doing this in the form of an iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch app, with Android and Windows Phone 7 support not too far off.


The app will be released before Christmas, and I need beta testers. Please contact me via pm or email for interest.

As I'm sure langley or vacc will say soon enough. I'm not putting my login info on an app made by just some user. Its good in theory but not unless the admins are on board.

You don't need to login, and if you do it's to the mobile website.

This is very interesting. I would definitely download this. While I'm pretty sure the site has a mobile version this would be very handy to have.

Doesn't look like anything beyond a browser, rss reader for the nerf wars forum, and a twitter feed to me. I just don't really see the point.

Except it's all integrated into one app, with a pretty amazing UI.

How is this any different than just using an itouch or whatever and accessing Nerfhaven without your app? The screen shots, besides the twitter thing, look the same to me.

Clearly you don't need our permission to create an app and feed from NerfHaven with it. What most people ask us about before proceding, however, is using our name. The answer is almost always "We're flattered, but no." That said, it's pretty common place for mobile apps to use the names of established websites/services/products without permission. I understand that, and I've no problem with this idea. The only thing I ask is that you note that this app is unofficial somewhere in the description. Good luck with it, and I hope it's a useful tool.
