Oregon Foam Fling
This war was created to gauge Oregon and Southern Washington interest in Nerf wars.

About
Due to the recent success of the Oregon Nerf Facebook Page, I've decided to take initiative and host a NIC Oregon Nerf War. My hope is that players from Vancouver will come down to participate (its only a 30ish minute drive). I know, its December, it's cold! Come on, ain't it worth it for a little Nerf action?

Cook Park in Tigard, OR. It's the perfect place! During the winter it is 99% empty, it has lots of cover, lots of cool structures and a literal hill for 'king of the hill'.

Springer Pistol for Pistol rounds
WARM CLOTHES
100+ MARKED Stock or Homemade Bullets (tips must be fully covered) NO MOOCHERS!
Eye protection (MANDATORY)
Food or Money for Food
Stuff to Trade (optional)
Cellphone
Friends

Banned Blasters
Anything that shoots over 130'. Bring extra blasters 'cuz I might not allow things on the day of the war.
BLACK, CAMO OR REALISTIC BLASTERS WILL BE THROWN IN THE RIVER

Oh man, I would so be game for this, I have been waiting for a close war forever. However, I am gonna be getting scuba certified during the two days previous to this in Hood Canal, so I am going to be tired and not wanting to drive. I will definetly be watching for another war in the area at a different date though, it is good to see that someone is taking the initiative to get nerf going in the area.

Ok, I'm not super active on NerfHaven because quite frankly I'm a bad modifier, so when I got a notification in my email I had to go searching for my Nerfhaven password...
Although I'm not a very good modifier I'm big in my own Nerf community; I host Nerf wars at my church, and I figure I can bring about 4 or five guys plus me to OFF. I'm really happy to see someone hosting a war, and I'll bring as many as I can. I'll talk to my guys. I'm afraid as far as gun quality goes though that are guns mainly only have AR removals. I can bring about 30 guns (I own personally) if we need more guns though. Also, if a reschedule would work better for SOUNDWAVE I'd be totally open to that.

Very kind to offer to change the date for me, so thanks. If this date works better for most people, then by all means do it then. If it doesnt really matter, then a later weekend in December (after Christmas)would work better for me. So, would a date change adversely affect anything for anyone? Agent x-eagle, what is a day that would work for most of your guys?

I just have to say, my schedule is hellacious until after Christmas. That being said, I can try to find a time that'll work, but if all else fails, after Christmas , before new years is wide open.

Sorry, lost my password again... (been super busy with school) A date change would be fine with me, Saturdays probably work best, Definitely Not a Tues., Weds., or Sun. Though. Thanks for going to the work to host a war though, its been a long time in the waiting.

Bump, Agent X-Eagle, could you look into inviting your friends from your Church Skirmishes? From my point of view, 4-5 people is a good place to start for a war in Oregon- I have other people I'm getting to come.

Wow, I just saw that the war was off. I already have about six guys that were going to come. Would you like to reconsider bumping the war? It would be small, but it'd be better than nothing...
