This has probably been done before but might as well give it a shot. This is a speedloader that was made from parts from my parts bin.

Materials:

1. 2' of CPVC

2. Maverick turret cover and orange front

3. Epoxy or hot-glue

1. Take the orange piece of the turret and cut all of the barrels of. Leave about 1/2" of the barrel.

2. Cut 6 4" lengths of CPVC

3. Put the pieces of CPVC through whats left of the orange barrels and the barrel holders in the turret cover.

Posted Image

4. Epoxy the barrels in or molest them with hot-glue like I did.

Posted Image

5. Let whatever adhesive you used cure.

Finished product:

It fits couplers just perfectly:

Yay for obnoxious pictures!

think I have seen this before but I cant remember so It is probably a first.

I also think that you don't need to use a maverick turret just make some sort of spacer.

over all good job

It seems like a waste of a Maverick Turret. Awesomenerfer is right.

Another idea is that you could always do something like this but with a maverick instead of a firefly.

This is from my parts bin and I liked the perfect spacing; I think that tinkering with getting the spacing right is a son of a bitch. Thanks for the feedback :)

If you need a speedloader, Venom213 sells high quality barrel spacers which could also be used for this application without the need to scrap a Maverick. Not that the Maverick would be missed...

EDIT: My bad, if the turret was scrap already then this is just being efficient.

There's no such thing as wasting something that is already a waste of plastic to begin with.

Back to the mod - good use of a piece of scrap. I know some people buy (used) Mavs to parts out for the handle and the slide (the latter being used as the fore-end for a Pump-SNAP). This is a great way to use the turret as well.

You could probably do the this with a hyperfire turret. Although that may be a bit front heavy.

ObiWonTwo did that - turned a DTG into a full-on turret (one part inserted into the coupler, multiple barrels rotating around an axle fixed to that one part.)

Heh, I was just thinking that literally the moment before I read your post. (For those who don't know, I'm Obi, I just have a different name here). I pray that none of you ever wastes a DTB turret as a spacer though if the rotation mech is still functioning. Unlike mav turrets, DTB turrets can function even when out of their shell with a few supports, and can be made rear loading and coupler compatible. Original thread is here: http://nerfhaven.com...=1 for those who are interested. Anyway, I personally enjoy Mav turret spacers, I'll bet a PETG one (with CPVC at the back to be coupler friendly) would look awesome with a clear Mav turret.

I'm the only respectable person here. The rest of the NIC are pretty much just child molesters.

edit: goddamn how do I resize this!?

You need to re-size the source picture, and then re-upload it. There isn't a way to do it directly from nerfhaven. You can use an image editor, or an online tool. I would suggest a width of 800 at most.
Cute gun. Bow power is the best .

I like it lots, man. It's a great idea I think for old maverick turrets.
