My name is Warren
and i wanted to ask ya'll to give a little feedback about my nerf choices.
So My nerf blasters are
Primary:Nerf Deploy cs-6 (mods:pierced air restrictor)
secondary:maverick rev-6 (now broken.more details later)
tertiary:nitefinder ex-3 (mod stretched spring,removed air restrictor)

i have bought and lost a moderate amount of darts
mostly I buy streamlines
I recently bought a few suctions ( i modded all my darts by cutting off the suction cup)
until i modded my nitefinder i no longer need to buy suction darts

deploy,recon,maverick

2nd/3rd (very similar)

First and foremost, welcome to the forum. Try to capitalize things. Also, for outdoor wars those guns are pretty low potential, though if your someone who does in-door skirmishes then all the power to you. Invest in making your guns tagger compatible, as it's the best stock dart in my opinion.

The Deploy is one of the worst reviewed blasters out there. The Maverick has a decent RoF, but the range sucks. The Nite Finder is a good choice, though. I suggest that you do more extensive mods to your blasters, and eventually find better ones. My suggestion would be the Longshot, modded to your fullest capacity, the Nite Finder, modded as well as the Longshot, and a Magstrike or other high RoF blaster that gets a decent range.

There are some things you need to consider when you nerf in order to decide what blasters/modifcations are best for you.

1. How often do you nerf? (This dictates how much money you may be willing to spend on a gun)
2. What kind of nerf wars do you go to or intend on participating in? (Stock ammo, stefans, indoor, outdoor, large, small, etc)
3. What kind of nerfer are you? Are you fast and having a compact blaster is important? Do you prefer Rate of Fire or Range? Passive or aggressive?
4. How much money are you willing to spend?
5. What are your modding capabilities?

Answering your question:
-I personally hate the deploy. If you go with a reverse plunger gun, then the alpha trooper is my suggestion. It is compact, comes with an 18 round drum, and has slam-fire.
-Streamline darts are nice because of range and their ability to be used in breeches and long barrels, but are inaccurate. Dart tag darts tend to be the most accurate while still having range (although not as good as streamlines) Stefans are more superior in every way though. Also, you can try making modified streamline darts
-Nite Finders are amazing secondaries (Or Primaries) when modified correctly. Check out the Modification Directory for some great mods! NerfRevolution has a good directory too. I'll PM you in a few days. I'm making a video tutorial on a NF Rifle Mod that may interest you also.
-Larger wars require a greater clip capacity or shorter reload time. The Raider and Alpha Trooper are great blasters for that reason. Their range is limited though. Orange mod works create easy to install kits that help the range a lot.

Personally I use a SNAP variation because of the 100ft ranges and amazing rate of fire. They are homemades though instead of a modification. Otherwise I use a Hoppered Buzz Bee Ultimate Missile Blast or a Modified Big Bad Bow. I ALWAYS use my NF Rifle as a secondary. In my indoor wars, my friends and I only use pistols. So I go with a Nite Finder almost identical to this one.

I hope I helped! If you have any questions, don't be afraid to ask.

Alpha trooper and/or Mini HAMP with Kane's tagger hopper clip. Barricade if you don't mind the noise.

Suspended. This is an 'advice thread' a 'which gun is best thread' and painful to read.
