Presenting NJNO 3/3.5! The dates has been decided, so set your clocks. Veterans of NJNO will know what to expect, however I openly invite anyone willing to come and nerf with us to do so. If the last two wars were any indication of what we can expect, then NJNO 3 should turn out to be a good day with a fast paced atmosphere. We will be meeting at the only gazebo in the park, so it should be fairly hard to miss us. Our games are usually divided between deathmatch variants and objective games, so bring a lot of darts or else you'll end up scavenging (like I usually do). Lunch usually happens between 12 and 1 and we give about an hour for lunch. There are a ton of food places around the area if you go out to rt 171/Georges road (Subways, McDonald's, Popeye's to name a few). There are no age restrictions, however if you do intend on coming I expect that you're going to follow the rules and respect the other players, as well as play fairly. That said, can't wait to see everyone once again and I do hope to see some new faces!

Date: November 19, 2011 & November 26th, 2011 (I'd like to get in as many wars as possible before it gets too cold, that said I've got people interested in doing back to back wars, and these dates work the best for those two wars. If you're able to come to either just post saying which war you're able to attend.
Location: Babbage Park, North Brunswick, NJ (1 Glenridge Avenue, North Brunswick Township, NJ 08902). - Please note, the location has not change. This is just a better route to getting to the park.
Time: 10ish to 5ish


Rules:
-Eye protection is mandatory.
-No singled Titans/Cobras/etc. (of course you can bring them for fun)
-Nothing sharp or pointy on your blaster. Grind down your sharp edges or just don't bring it.
-If your blaster is considered too powerful, we do reserve the right to spot ban it.
-Barrel taps are of course allowed.
-Gun hits count.
-Don't bring all Black or camo guns.
-No age limit this time, but if you're getting annoying we will tell you to leave.
-General duchebaggery will not be allowed, and we will tell you to GTFO.
-Anything that looks like a shield (manta,strongarm,capt'merica,etc) Can be used as a shield, however you are restricted to melee or a pistol. The stampede shield is not allowed, however.
Dart restrictions:
I'll be allowing dome heads and slugs, since I know a lot of people don't like slugs too much. However I ask that if you are bringing domes, that they be lightly weighted. No slignshot weights, etc. #6 or #8 washers, copper BBs, BB fishing weights to name a few examples of the weights you should use.

What to bring:
-At least two primaries
-At least 1 springer pistol
-Stefans (I'd say over 400 since we like to get some objective games in.
-Water
-Lunch
-A Sweater
-Stuff to trade
-A friend
-A good attitude

Game Types:
Most of the game types will be standard 3-15, Deathmatch, Pistols, VIP, Bomb the base, etc. We'll decide on more as the day progresses.

Attending: Note that if you're on this list and can't make it for whichever day, or can, post in this thread. Right now this tally is based on how people have voted.

For the love of god if I miss another one I am going to be pissed. Well since I won't catch the flu again and hurricane season is over all the dates work as of now. I voted for the 12th though just in case it does happen to snow early 8^).

I say the 19, I think it would be less of a pain to stay clear if the holiday. However, cursed Wal-Mart makes it hard to get-off. So a later date equals more notice and lessens their ability to screw me.

November 12: will NOT work

November 19: should work

November 26: might work

December 3: should work and if this is the day of the war, I might be bringing another person with me to the war. This is the date I voted for.

Anything aside from the 12th works. Though 26th is also good as we could run off our turkey fat.

Out of curiosity, would anyone be up for a back to back war. IE the 19th and the 26th? I have no problem hosting as long as people show up.

If I can find someone to perform repairs on my rainbowpump [Ryan appears to be away], then I will be there on the 19th. The 26th depends on which part of the family is hosting Thanksgiving.
