Just out of pure curiosity, I was wondering if people used positions to organize their team better, or if this is some crazy concept that I worked up in my head. Assuming I could figure out why the hell I can't post my article, I'd give a description of my ideas, so instead I'm forced to post here. If interested in it, lemme know. I've had oodles of success organizing my team with positions.

Positions, eh? Hehe, well......Shit, I need to get my mind out of the gutter.

When I play, we usually don't assign certain "Positions" except when we play certain scenarios. The other day, we played a game around my house where one person was designated as a defender, who was armed to the teeth with several guns, while the "attackers" had only a single pistol with 2 darts.

I guess positions such as "loser", "trooper", "heavy weapons", etc. can be used in certain games, depending on how you play, but we try switching the positions around to add variety to our nerfing. It's not like a certain person always plays the same position every single round.

We do that in our nerfing too... Usually we agree on who's fire support, who goes out front, and so on, just before the round starts.

We play ctf alot so we usually have a loser, a defender, and a couple pistol rushers on each team. Depending on the number of people you have it can be kinda useless to assign positions. This is especially true if you have a bunch of newbs playing who don't have a praticular skill.

Seirus, as I have talked to you before, I have finally come up with my opinion.

I think that for me, one who has not actually been engaged in a full nerf war before, I'd rather just go out and do an all-out war, no positions needed. However, after many wars, people's talents tend to stand out. (Same in any video game or sport). Nerfing can almost be considered a sport. OK, it CAN be. But what I'm saying here, is, if you have a very experienced 'team' with positions, and the people in those positions are good with them, more power to ya. However, if it is someone like me, I'd rather carry on a few guns of different advantages (say, crossbow, sm1500 and NF), and play some good 'ol nerfing until I find out that I'm a sharp shooter with a crossbow, for example.
Just my two cents.

I beleve why you can't post your article is because cxwq has to proof read it first. Otherwise we would have people posting articles of nonsence all the time. Sent it to cxwq and see what happens.

Edit: (oops, for got to say what i thought)

Me and my nerfin' friends usually just work together as a team. whoever has the right gun for the job. We don't really plan who does what ahead of time.

That's what I thought. As crazy as it is, I'm usualy sharpshooter because I have the best gun. Who would've though a guy could eat shit with an sm1500? But these nubes we've got have airtech 2000's and have done some dmage, so we're having a blast.

P.S-Thanks weasel
