Ok, so I can't help but notice this awesome state park right by my campus (UMBC) and think about having a nerf war there. Only problem is I'm a bit of a newb only having gone to two wars myself and never hosting one, I really dont think I'm qualified or even know how or were to get permission to have one at a state park. The place is Patapsco Valley State Park My link So I just though I would put it out here and hopefully someone near by who knows what there doing might want to use it. Also then it would be convenient for me to go there :) and I could bring at least a few buddies from UMBC.
EDIT: though I would add some pics of where exactly there I thought might be good. nvm couldn't figure it out

You live in MD? Cool! We'd love to have you at the next DCNF, whenever it is!
Also, if you wanna host a war, go for it! Don't worry about attendance, and just do some research on wars and you'll be fine, I hosted my first war having only gone to one war before that!

Hosting a war isn't hard, it just takes a little initiative and research if you're looking to use a park that you think will require a permit to use. Post a thread here with relevant information and possible dates and go from there. "I'm a newb" really isn't a valid excuse.

EDIT: Telling people you suck isn't a great way to get them interested either. Have some balls man. Good luck if you end up hosting a war.
