Because the first NJNO went over very well, I bring you NJNO2. For now the location is TBA, as I'd like to find a more suitable park to change things up. However if any of the previous NJNO attendees has no problem with the war being held at Babbage park again then we can certainly go there again (I'll reserve the pavilion this time). Let me know what you guys think, otherwise I'll find a park in a week or two and update the thread.


After talking with some peeps, the location will be Babbage Park.


Date: October 15th, 2011
Location: Babbage Park, North Brunswick, NJ (116 Hollywood St, North Brunswick Township, NJ 08902-2455. Plug that into your GPS which will lead you to Parsons Elementary School. The park is right next to the school and you can leave your car in the large lot in front of the park.
Time: 10ish to 5ish


Rules:
-Eye protection is mandatory.
-No singled Titans/Cobras/Homemade airguns/etc. (of course you can bring them for fun)
-Nothing sharp or pointy on your blaster. Grind down your sharp edges or just don't bring it.
-If your blaster is considered too powerful, we do reserve the right to spot ban it.
-Barrel taps are of course allowed.
-Gun hits count.
-Don't bring all Black or camo guns. You shouldn't be wearing any type of camo either.
-No age limit this time, but if you're getting annoying we will tell you to leave.
-General duchebaggery will not be allowed, and we will tell you to GTFO.
-Anything that looks like a sheild (manta,strongarm,capt'merica,etc) Can be used as a shield, however you are restricted to melee or a pistol. The stampede shield is not allowed, however.
Dart restrictions:
I'll be allowing dome heads and slugs, since I know a lot of people don't like slugs too much. However I ask that if you are bringing domes, that they be lightly weighted. No slignshot weights, etc. #6 or #8 washers, copper BBs, BB fishing weights to name a few examples of the weights you should use.

What to bring:
-At least two primaries
-At least 1 springer pistol
-Stefans
-Water
-Lunch
-A Sweater
-Stuff to trade
-A friend
-A good attitude

Game Types:
Most of the game types will be standard 3-15, Deathmatch, Pistols, CTF, VIP, Bomb the base, etc. We'll decide on more as the day progresses.

You probably won't need it, but bring a sweater just in case. New Jersey weather likes to change drastically over night. If you have any questions feel free to ask and I'll give you a prompt answer.

I'm looking to sell:

1. Stock orange Furyfire; used but in good condition [$10]
2. 8 x almost new 6 dart box (N-Strike CS) magazines [$13 for all eight]
3. Buzz Bee Missiles. Two are used and yellow while four are NIP and white and light up. [$5 for all six]
4. Original Vulcan (I think it is a "first edition"). In fair shape; some minor scratching and dirt/dust. It is complete with belt, belt-ammo box, and tripod. Batteries not included. This is for local pick up...unless you want to pay the large shipping costs. I figure we can do the transaction at a Nerf war, such as andtheherois's Nerf war in October. [$10]
5. NIP Nitron scope (from the Vortex Nitron); It's still in the plastic bag it came in. All I did was take it out of the box. [$12]
6. NIB Air Tech 2000. The box is obviously in pretty bad shape. [$25]
7. "Absolver Mav" with three total shells. Two shells have 7 barrels and 1 shell has three. I've never done an official range test with the 3 barrel shell, but I the 7 barrel shell (with the longest barrels) gets about 45-50 feet. It takes about 40-45 total pumps which is actually about 22 pump "cycles" since this is a dual action pump. The dart spread is about 1.5 to 2.0 feet at 45 feet. As for price, I'm asking for $50. I don't know what the going price for something like this is, so if you think it should be priced differently, I'm open to counter offers.

Evilbunnyo, I'm going to assume that you'll be there, considering you want to buy the Vulcan, so I'm going to move you to the "attending" list.

You may want to make some. I use really thick foam that only works in PETG/9/16 brass, so I don't think my stefans will work for you, unless you use the same barrels. Though someone else may lend you some.

Ok ill see what I can do. Worst thing I use stock streamlines and dart sweep every game.

Hero is it alright if I bring two small boxes and duct tape to the war so we can play defend the core.
