A Mexican Airplane has filmed eleven UFO's on March 5th with their infrared-camera.
What do you think about this?

I hate all these UFO sightings. I mean, why would any aliens who have the brains to make it to a foreign planet have spaceships that are brightly lit?
They would either come with the intention to spy on us with radar/sight elusion, or with a big announcement for contact. I don't know how well we can trust the video. For all we know, the Mexican's might be laughing their butts off at us right now. They know how many "sightings" our nation has, and might be playing a joke on us.
If that's the case, I can laugh with them at all who believe this.

So 500 billion times 6. SO your telling me that out of more than a trillion planets there is only 1 like ours or that has had some reaction that sprung life.
I personally believe there is life on mars and on that one jupiter moon.
UFO's though..i really dont know..

Exactly my feeling. I mean, if they have technology advanced enough to come to earth, they would obviously know that they were near a mexican plane. Then why would they allow themselves to be seen and yet not land and try to make some kind of contact? Unless we're talking about aliens that derive perverse pleasure from making people act insane.I've always held that aliens with the technology to get here will either ignore us, trade with us, enslave us, or destroy us. Why would they come all this way just to fly around in little blobs of light checking out Mexico?

I watch that UNIX show on saturdays before SNL, and they are , through and through, whackos. But I myself have also thought I saw a UFO, then i did some research. Turns out it was a new kind of plane where the wings are put on backwords with rotateable engine-flies like a silent helicopter. The thing that drove me to think it was a UFO, was it Didnt have traditional blue and red lights, but the front and back of the wings' edge were lit up. Kinda crazy i went for 10 minutes.

One could argue, maybe they know that we're watching now.
Or that our cities are to loud and bright, so that they are either avoiding them or cannot be seen.
Ponder that.

There are some very well-read people that I know, that happen to be good friends with my parents. One of them has seen a UFO in a local park.
I don't like the term UFOs, because they could be anything. For instance, if I said "UFOs exist," it would be a fact. If I see something in the sky that I don't know what it is, it's flying, unidentified, and definitely an object. So "Alien Spacecraft" and "UFOs" to me are two entirely different things. Of course, that flying object you see could be alien spacecraft.

I think Cx put it best. Why make contact like this if they don't have a reason?
Something I enjoy doing is finding logical explanations for UFOs. True, some of 'em I can't explain, but right now, one really sticks in my head.
Remember that Roswell crash, with the "men in black?" I looked at that. I did some research about military work in that period of time. Turns out that the military had been developing a brand new, high tech nuclear bomber that could drop one on the Soviet Union. The typical stereotype that people saw was lifting straight up in the air, firing its thrusters, and boosting away. The way the bomber launced was a big hot-air balloon lifted it up, then the plane hit the gas, and shot away.
The thing that really gave the crash away as a military aircraft was the design. The plane had a very peculiar design: The entire fuselage was made from honeycombed metal. At Popular Science, they had a picture of a piece of the crashed "UFO" material, and a prototype design of the aircraft. The way that they chunck looked was equivilent to the cross-section of the plane in the blueprint.
There is not way in hell that I can explain 'em all, but, I can do a few, if I try.

The X-Files is still the best UFO-related show, ever.

Why would an alien race attack a planet of 75% water? Why would aliens journey to Earth to fly around as little lights in the sky over Mexico?
Maybe the aliens had no knowledge of water, just as we might not have knowledge of chemicals that exist on other planets that might be toxic to us. Maybe there is something in the atmosphere that prevents the aliens from landing (hence they are left flying bewildered over Mexico).
And, yes, The X-Files were great. But so was Signs.

That sounds like a reasonable explanation as to why the aliens wanted to check out Mexico. Maybe they also wanted to try the spicey food. I wouldn't go near the water there though, unless you are used to it. That stuff is evil.Tequila?

I also believe in aliens, but most of the sightings recorded in history seem rather unclear in general. Some of them may be legit, however many of them may be hoaxes anyway, especially with how easy it is to edit photos and videos nowadays.
Addressing the issue on why aliens would come here in the first place, I believe that it may be because of exploratory purposes. Our own space programs have been trying for years to find extraterrestrial life. Maybe the aliens are doing the same, but are way ahead of us.

Maybe they were checking to see if we were worth trading/enslaving/destroying, apparently we didn't pass.

There are trillions of stars and possibly hundreds of other alien races out there but that is not an excuse for them flying like drunk morons above our heads with their "giant lightbulbs" (Maybe they are just making their driving licence ). If those aliens are as intelligent as they can fly then I believe that the movie "Mars Attacks" wasn't a joke...I've always believed in aliens. I mean when you think about it there areabout a trillion stars just in our galaxy, lets just say half of those can actually host planets.
So 500 billion times 6. SO your telling me that out of more than a trillion planets there is only 1 like ours or that has had some reaction that sprung life.

Life on Mars is possible in a few hundred years, but what about the new planet Quaoar? We haven't even known about this planet being in our solar system. That could be a good hiding place...

Yeah, everyone wants to live on an airless oversized asteroid in an orbit that makes Sol look like any other relatively bright star.Life on Mars is possible in a few hundred years, but what about the new planet Quaoar? I'd rather go mine the belt and avoid the whole planet thing altogether. If anyone on earth tried to fuck with me I'd just throw a rock at them. Orbital velocity makes for a nasty weapon.

"Since when did Mexico have an air force? Or planes for that matter?"
So, for the most part, I couldn't believe the story from the first sentence.

1) We would land in squads of ships, whip out our arsenal and kill everything in sight because we're freakish newcomers.
2) We would circle around a particular spot once every few years, but leave and do nothing.
3) We land and we threaten them with our weapons and herd them into our guns to take them back to Earth.
What the hell? If aliens came by our planet (should they be that advanced), obviously that would land, attempt to communicate, and stay away from all types of violence. Unless aliens are so sophisticated that we are about as significant as ants, I see no reason for these "UFO sightings" to be realistic. There would be no "sightings." There would be "UFO landings, Leader of Southern Mars forms Interplanet Treaty with United Nations" or something to that effect. Of course...the killing and violence stuff has created very nice games (Halo!) and movies(Independence Day) .

<nerd alert!>
They had an entire article on a possible 10th. planet called Nemesis. The theory behind Nemesis is that it is a brown dwarf star, cruisin' around our sun through all the planet crap like Quaoar, and sending killer metiorites at us.
Remember the extinction of the dinosaurs? That was conincidental with the movement of the supposed Nemesis through the Oort Cloud, which is a giant mass of Quaoar-like objects, 'cept bigger.
</nerd alert!>
I'm only saying what I remember from the article, not any bullshit that pops into my head.
