Hi, I am modified my nerf swarmfire. I removed the ARs, added padding to the plunger to help dampen any damage, and no I am trying to added an aftermarket spring, preferably around 10kg. Problem is I can't find any place that sells the springs with the right length and weight load. I tried using wire cutters to shorten the spring, but they didn't even make a dent into the metal. Anyone have any ideas on what I could do?

thanks

Use a cutoff disk on a dremel/rotary tool.

First of all, you might need some punctuation, And if you want a 10 kg spring that's close to 20 pounds of force.
I would recomend a little less stress on the motor.
A [k25] spring is the best choice.
If you want to cut any spring dont use wire cutters, use a dremel cutting disk. Don't worry about sparks when cutting.

You can buy [k25] springs from Mcmaster Carr. Or you can get them from Split if you don't want to buy in bulk. Here
