I could use some help with my putting back to together my Long Shot and solving a problem. A friend of mine gave me her Stock Long Shot. I used it a couple of times, then put it in my room un primed. Then a week later I go prime it back for some test shots and it won't prime back. So tonight I opened it up and modded it a little bit while it was open.

But now when I tired to put it back together I saw that the priming bar holes are not aligned where they should be. They are ahead of where they should be and a littler higher, just out of sight. Here are my internals and what the mis alightment looks like. Can anyone help me?

I also removed the bolt lock and it still won't prime back.

Current Internals: (minus the blot lock now)

The priming bar hole is not lined up correctly with the space. (pic is upside down for some reason.)

Looks like when you resinserted the bolt it didn't quite get into the groove for it. I would take out the set up and start with the dart tooth reciever. Make sure that's lined up correctly. Then slide the bolt set up into the reciever as best as possible. Line up the plunger tube with its slot and the put the end of the boltsled into its channel and it should be all set.
If that doesn't fix it then post a close up of the bolt sled set up so we can see what the problem could be.

EDIT
While taking another look I noticed there's still that black piece on the plunger rod. It might not be the issues but try removing that. If it went in incorrectly that might be the issue.

Looks like you forgot to put the plunger tube in correctly. On the plunger tube there is a small nub (at the front) and in the shell there is a small hole. You need to make sure the nub goes into the hole otherwise it won't work. otherwise it will not work.

Yup. Your plunger tube is not where it should be, which is what is causing the problems. You have to make sure the nub on the tube goes in the hole and the ridges on the plunger tube line up with the ridges on the shell. It'll "lock" into place if you do it correctly.

Thanks for the quick answers guys. I'll check it out again and try it later today.

Also do you know whats causing the inablity to prime back? Will putting the plunger tube in the right place fix the inalightment and priming problem?

Ok so I might have figured out the problem. But now I have a new one.

My bolt sled seems to be catching on something and that keeps it from not going down all the way.

The black lock in the trigger area(the trigger lock I believe) was keeping the sled a little bit up. I removed it and now I can only prime the blaster from the left side. I even took out the priming bar and switched it around, that didn't work. Does anyone know whats up?

Also I can prime it from the right side, but it takes a good amount of force and when it does prime I hear a crack sound of some sort.

Do you have any locks still in the blaster? I would remove anything that doesn't have to do with flinging foam downrange. The locks just get in the way.

As for your priming problem, it sounds like the boltsled is catching on something. Look inside the blaster for anything that appears worn down. The sound and force you describe makes it seem like you're having to force the boltsled past some obstruction.

If you can't figure out what's causing the problem, just keep trying to realign the parts.

There might be something in the rail guide. Could you post a more detailed photo of the the internals?
