ILLINOIS FOAM FEST SIX: PART 2

When:
SUNDAY, July 17th, 2011 - 12 PM - 5 PM
Arrive at no later than 11:45 AM. First round starts at 12:00 PM.
Plan on meeting in the parking lot by the two playgrounds and pagoda.

Where:
Flick Park
3600 Glenview Road

Backup Location:
Indian Trail Park
1519 Forest Dr
Glenview, IL 60025

What to bring:
-Your "A" game
-A good attitude
-At least one primary, preferably two if yours breaks.
-Spring powered single-shot pistol.
-Eye Protection, if you're not wearing any, you don't play
-Lunch and water.
-Proper attire. I don't want to see some douche bags showing up in camouflage or I will tell you to leave.
-SLUG DARTS/STOCK DARTS

What not to bring:
-Pump plugged blasters with airtanks larger than a Mega Missile. You must have a working OPRV otherwise.
-Anything else will be determined on a case-by-base basis determined by the hosts.
-Blasters that are painted black/camo will be destroyed. And that means RFDGs, and PASs. Put some bright colored tape on them or paint them a different color. Extremely bright blasters will be encouraged. We don't want any problems with the police.
-Kids who are ≤13 years old must have their parent(s) present.

Miscellaneous Information:
-Barrel tapping is allowed, but after it is executed, the player must shoot his dart on the ground. The barrel tap itself must be light.
-If you are being a douchebag I will ask you to leave.
-Please clean up after yourselves, we will be in a public park.
-Please refrain from yelling obscenities, we do not need the attention.
-Be respectful to all other civilians using this facility.

Arrive at no later than 9:45 AM. We will go over basic rules and safety. We will begin playing at 10:00. If you're not there and ready to go at 10:00, you'll miss the first round.

Alright guys, I know the war is about a week away but I need to post this, because I leave tomorrow:

-Wicket will be in charge of keeping track of attendance, in this thread, because I'll be gone until the day of the war.
-I need someone to bring me a nice,fresh,clean segment of 3/4" wooden dowel rod.
-I need someone to bring me a 1/2" PVC 90 degree elbow, and a 1/2" PVC 45 degree elbow.
-Lastly, I might need to use a drill at the war. So if someone could pack a cordless or corded drill (I'm pretty sure the park has an outlet or two), that would be appreciated. I will bring my own 7/64" bit.

I will be bringing 3 guests and will not have enough darts to supply everyone with a reasonable amount, therefore, I am looking to borrow/trade for/buy darts that have a springer fit in cpvc and aren't grey at the war. Thanks to anyone that can help us out!

War is at noon, today. It sounds like everyone is going to be low on darts, including me. I would appreciate it if someone could bring a power drill for me, just in case I need to work on my handle a little more. See you guys tomorrow! If you need my cell phone #, shoot me a pm on here, before 11 am or so.

This war was one of those things that sucked but still managed to be fun at the same time.
Pros:
-Meeting everybody
-Meeting Kelvin (<3)
-Free drinks
-Free shit people left
-Dick waving
-More dick waving

Cons:
-Three rounds
-Hot
-Indianna crew leaving early
-Dick waving
-Too much patty cake
-Breif tension between two factions (Dick wave vs. Patty cake)

All in all, it was fine.
