I know topics like this are frowned on but,I can't figure out how to get the orange cap on the end by the pump off. Please help.

Following the lines of the blaster, cut the cap into two halves.

You could try forcing it off with a screw driver, however you risk damaging both the shell and the ring by doing that.

Cutting it's the best way- a careful use of razor blade will give you the best finish. Meanwhile, we have an IRC which is great for asking those "I know it's stupid but I gotta know" questions without irritating the admin team.

Stuff is hard when you don't have a Dremall I use a hack saw.

Did I say anything about a Dremel? No- and hacksaws are the wrong tool for the job.

Do you have a basic steak knife in the kitchen? Even that would work, all you need is a serrated edge to cut with, it's a very small amount of plastic to cut through.
