Hello once again everybody!

It's been too long since I last posted a write-up so here's one!
I picked this Tech Target up in a lot, never actually intended on getting one, but since I had it, what the heck right?

So I read all the write-ups I could find on the interwebz...
And I cracked mine open. Then my mind cracked.

I'm not going to go through the "standard" mods because there are so many other great write-ups around.

Essentially, this thread is to share with everyone how I performed these mods:

- Plunger Relocation (which translates to a draw extension)
- PVC Couplered

I basically used scraps of what I had to help with this mod. This way, you don't need to worry about using glue or goop or epoxy to hold your relocated plunger tube in place.

I always find it amazing how the most effective stuff is the simplest. Very nice mod.
But I do have one question. Since you pushed the plunger tube forward, does the plunger head reach all the way to the front of the PT still? or is there just dead space?

I guess I'll be that guy and ask what kind of ranges you're getting with this mod. I've found this type of plunger draw extension to be great for the nitefinder, and I'm curious as to how effective it is on a ttg.

Also, the picture is a neat idea. Nicely done.

Nope, it sits at the "back end" of the cut-down coupler.
(If I had the plunger tube pushed forward any further, I'd have to extend the plunger rod too.)
So yes, dead space. If you use a CPVC coupler though, you'd greatly reduce the dead space.
Just find a tube of some kind, and wedge a stump of that inbetween the CPVC coupler and the forwardmost screw ports.

With my current spring combo (and I'm completely UNABLE to rate it because it's a combo of 2 unindentifiable springs; however, a [k26] is definitely stronger than my current combo), and the fact that my seal isnt 100% (it's about 90%), I'm hitting the high 40s. If I were to improve the seal to a 100%, it'd prolly hit past the 50ft mark. It's not fantastic, but honestly, it's mainly due to my weaker spring setup.

A plusbow bushing fits over the end of the plunger tube about perfect, less deadspace and more surface area for the glue. I also didn't see mention of the plunger tube outlet being widened, this is vital to decent ranges. I've seen a ttg with bungees+stock and about the same draw extension do at least 65, so once you fix the seal you should have a great pistol.

However we don't have easy access to +bow parts in my country... so I guess I'd have to make do.
Also, the plunger tube outlet was widened, but like I said, this wasn't about the "standard mods"...

I've improved the seal a fair bit, it's still not a 100% but it's pretty much good now, and I'm experiencing the blaster hitting over 50ft now, and I'm pretty happy with that.
