Nope. 9/16ths is about the same size as PETG and 17/32nds will slide well into MEDIUM-walled PETG if I remember correctly.

You would need at least 3/4" brass depending on the exact measurements of your petg. Though in that size I assume it would be outragesouly expensive.

Time for some math. 17/32" fits inside 9/16" or 18/32". 1/2" fits inside 17/32". I assume your trying to make some sort of breech? 9/16" fits into 1/2" pvc.

Correct me if I'm wrong on anything thing.

Assuming you're making a breach, the SCH 80 nipples at my local Ace, while terrible for barrels, fit over a scrap of PETG I have. I don't know the relative wall thickness of my PETG (I got it from a box of free stuff at a war), but yours may work with SCH 80. I'm sure the ID varies from store to store. Kind of off topic, but hopefully useful.

If you're talking about thickwall/medium PETG (.572" OD), good luck finding something to nest over it. 3/4" brass is way too large (.692" ID). 5/8" brass is .597" ID, and 19/32" brass is .566" ID.

9/16" (.5265" OD) brass fits in 1/2" PVC (~.608 ID, varies greatly), but not very well, and won't seal on it's own if you're trying to make this air tight.

I was saving my first post for something fancy, but I'm helping a bro in need. I have what I presume to be medium-walled PETG from the supplier OMC gets it from. For my breech I did the following:

-Stick a 1/2"PVC sheath into a coupler, mark the exposed PVC
-Cut the loading port 1/2" offset from the mark
-Take a 1" stub of 17/32" brass and put a couple tightening rings on it
-Remove the PVC from the coupler
-E-taped and goop it to the back of a PVC sheath
-Take your desired length of PETG and stuff it into the other end of the sheath
-The brass should make a decent seal(mine is airtight)
-There should be some exposed PETG. If not, remove the PETG and cut the sheath down
-Goop another piece of PVC onto the exposed PETG. Pull on this to open the breech

Ta-Da! Cheap but effective breech. The nice thing about medium-walled PETG is it's elasticity, which this breech employs. DeadDumpter did a similar writeup on Canadian Nerfers a long time ago.

Okay to everyone this is not the type of breach you are thinking of. I'm trying to think of a breach for a longshot. My own breach that I thought of but looking at angel breach videos and past cpvc with petg breach I think I can do this. I just hope my hunch is right.
