I want to paint a few of my blasters but im not sure what type of paints you guys use that I have seen pics of. Obviously you use a primer first, but what type of paint do you use after that? Ill be using an airbrush, or is there some good spray paint I could use?

Not really. The paint on the trigger is worn off, but the rest of the gun is fine. It changes the feel of it a little though. The texture is more of a paper texture than slick plastic, but I'm not bothered by it.

Probably one of the best types of spraypaint you can use for Nerf guns is Krylon Fusion for Plastics.

Just follow the instructions and let it dry for the full week before using it. You can handle it after an hour though.

Yep, Fusion is the way to go. I picked up a bottle of gold stuff, and i'm gonna paint the secret shot i'm getting gold, as well as one of my AT2Ks, and if i end up getting another TTG, one of those as well.

Ive painted a ton of guns (go to my website, clans, clan arsenal to see). I hear fusion is really good. Beware though because its really hard to get spray paint off once youve dont it, ive messed up on a few of mine which sucks.

I usually prime my blasters first, it makes it feel really coool and look alot better than just spray paint.

Yeah. If you don't prime your gun, the color coat never really hardens.
I painted all the green plastic on my Blastfire with bumper chrome. The thing looks really sweet now.
