It all started when I heard a pop while I was pumping the gun... The bladder had broke a few weeks later it had been reborn:

It has a light which turns on when i pull the trigger on the gun this is for night wars so i can blind people and shoot them.

The gun is powered by a canister of compressed air (keyboard cleaner):

I connected 3/16 vinyl tubing to the magstrike tubbing and on the other end put the straw from the canister:

As far as i know I am the first to do this mod so at this point in time I am considering it mine. What do you think?

I can't see the pictures underneath the huge unnecessary watermarks.
But at least you are protecting your stuff. Don't want anyone taking credit for your airduster flashlight mod.

Doesn't it feel awkward to hold the MS in one hand and air can in the other?

Gotta agree with forsaken here... you put a giant water mark on very poor quality pictures, making them even less attractive to look at. Also, aren't those compressed air cans rather expensive?

Do not use that can of air... If you hold the can the wrong way for too long while spraying it, it will get VERY cold. This will damage the insides of your blaster. Also, might I introduce you to the macro setting on your camera? Or even the focus for that matter?

I don't trust computer duster to be a safe air supply for nerf guns. The air gets too cold and will crack the first plastic piece it meets. You will end up damaging plastic parts in your magstrike. Take it form someone who's tried this before.

@Forsaken_angel24: No it does not feel awkward I can move around pretty good even though at some times both my hands are full but I can have a free hand thus the hand strap on the canister.

@Blue: So sorry about the pictures I will be taking new ones soon without the water marks and the air canisters are about $7 at my local fredmyer.

@Kid Flash: I hold the canister right side up in stead of up side down that is when it gets cold again sorry about the pictures they will be fixed soon.

@durka durka: It is my guess you were not using the air correctly i've been using my system for two years and have had no issues.

DO NOT USE AERSOLS TO POWER YOUR BLASTER. First of all its a liquid in the can, and going through a phase change as it decompresses into a gas takes energy (read: MAKES SHIT COLD). Secondly, its a fucking aerosol. Breathing the stuff is not good for you.

Whenever a liquid decompresses into a gas it makes things surrounding it colder. Even if the can isn't upside down, the air that comes out is still significantly cold. The reason its a lot colder when its upside down is that the actual liquid sprays out, which then decompresses in your hand rather than in the canister. That's why you can freeze stuff by spraying out the liquid aerosol.

Just be careful and don't use this with PVC tanks or anything.

Plastic + cold = brittle plastic.

Brittle plastic =/= good.

Like I've been saying I have used this gun for like two years now and nothing has happened I don't think anything will happen.

On a side note I am happy to announce the new pictures in the first post.
