**This is one of my earlier mods before I came to NerfHaven. I thought I'd post it here to accompany my Syringed DiskShot/Element.

Okay, a little back story: I was injured the other day playing Dodgeball (that's right, laugh it up). A teammate and I ran into each full force. He tripped and fell flush against the side of my knee. Another teammate said he saw me knee bow sideways. It hurt like a bitch!!! Anyway, it looks like I'm out of commission for at least four weeks with a sprained knee. Which means I most likely won't be attending Vengeance 4. I was bummed... But when Life hands you lemons you make lemonade!!!!

Enjoy the ridiculousness! I give you, the "Hop 'A' Long" Haha!

Ultimate Missile Blast, nested in a crutch with an aluminum and acrylic RSCB. The pump is not plugged. My co-workers think I'm NUTS!! They're probably right.

**Edit May26, 2011 - At the time, I didn't have access to wyes so I couldn't make a hopper/Chopper. Plus, I literally made this thing in the spur of the moment. It took me, maybe 20 minutes with materials I just had lying around. The white tubing you see is something I found underneath my bathroom sink. I don't even know what it's used for.

Alas, the Hop'A'Long is no more. I borrowed those crutches from a friend but I gave them back to her since...But I still have the BBUMB. She didn't want it.

And this is why I enjoy this hobby, people like you taking a crappy situation and making a blaster out of it. Also, shooting people with foam darts is fun, too. The only thing I would have done differently from this setup is the inclusion of a chopper instead of an RSCB.

I would argue the rscb to be a better fit for this application. Rscb's are more effecient (not like that matters with a umb though), but he would have to ground the crutch tip (dipping and priming the rscb) anyway to free his hand up to pump. I think it's genious. The only way to make it even cooler is if the rscb and barrel could be some how internalized into the tubing of the crutch!

I find mine at Canadian Tire. If you're using grey FBR, it fits just fine. But if you're using Nerf-customed foam (Split's white foam, Angel's Beige foam etc.) CPVC is a little too tight a fit. PETG is better suited for those foams.

R U on the Canadian forum?

If you are using a springer, having to twist slightly isn't bad. If you are looking for an airgun fit, you might have to use brass if you can find it locally.

Or switch to mega's, using 5/8 foam and 1/2 pvc or 3/4 cpvc.
