I see that you have some sort of a gps coordinate on there as well as 2 street names, but I was wondering if I could get the address as well. As far as I know, my GPS doesn't do coordinates, and I'd like to use it instead of google maps since it's a lot nicer when you have it telling you what to do and where to do it instead of looking at a map wondering where the road is that you need to take. Sorry to bother, but I'm just trying to get all set for this war. Also, I guess since we'll have extra room in the car I'll bring a few things to sell (cheap, I might add) so bring your dollar bills. Or maybe fives... I'm not planning on going to the strip clubs.

There really isn't an address. The best I can do is those GPS coordinates. If you put Yorkville in your GPS it should get you pretty close, it's not too far from the city center. If you want to jot down my phone number and call me if you get lost, it's listed on the ning, under this event.

I'll be one of the few guys on the field without an RPB, but nonetheless, you are all going down! On a side note, I have a bunch of blasters with me that I really need to get rid of, so see me at the war for some cheap stuff.

Great war guys, now for some pros and cons!

Pros:
-Got some cool footage.
-Tons of cheap stuff.
-Getting to war with some new guys.
-Scoring some 1 and 1/2 inch thinwall.
-Getting a Boomstick from Flash!
-Culvers and Target afterwards!

Cons:
-Mosquitoes
-Ticks
-Cheerios managing to shoot one of the rubber washers out of the front of my snap.
-Getting murdered by all of the 4B's and RPB's all day long.
-Getting less than half of my darts back.

Overall great war, would definitely come again. Also, thanks a ton Broken and Flash for piking me up along the way, and for the 45 minutes of shooting each other in my culdesac.

Thanks for coming out to this war, everyone. It was a lot of fun and in the future we'll know what works better at this specific war site. Also, if the field gets mowed, a lot more area should open it up, improving it further.

Highlights.

• Super mod party all up ins the night before.
• Stark, Derek, you my new brosephs. Paul remains one.
• I ruined the pumpbow. Yaaay.
• Thanks, Stark, for letting me borrow the 4B. Super appreciate it.
• The Klaw Hatchet was so worth the purchase.
• Prone Nerfing. Obviously superior.
• Sleeping in mobstacles.
• "Sleeping" in mobstacles.
• Cheerios is my fucking edward.
• Broken VIP.
• Making "burgers."
• Meeting all the people I hadn't met before. Ohio dudes, you guys are cool and I look forward to Nerfing with you guys again.

• Meeting tons of people from the interwebz.
• Noodle being exactly like he is on the interwebz... Pretty quiet and quite indecisive. It was kind of funny.
• Selling a ton of stuff pretty much dirt cheap.
• Getting some pretty cool stuff in trades, though they were all small things.

• 7 hour long drive there, 7 hour drive back...
• Not getting a hotel room.
• Getting head shots... I didn't mean to, it just happened.
• Some kid stealing my hopper that I let him borrow...

I hope to see you guys at an Ohio war. We'll try to get one in the Cincinnati area going in the next few months.

Pros:
+Everyone was awesome
+Meeting BrokenSVT and Kid Flash- both are cool dudes
+My RCP performed beautifully all day- now if only I could aim....
+Water and (almost) toads as alternative ammo
+2-minute 4B mod with a Leatherman
+Culvers- om nom nom
+Seeing some awesome blasters
+Getting some tacticool blasters
+Minimum rain- it turned into a nice day!
+Hanging out w/ Noodleownz on the trek south

-Double Headshot (what does it mean??)

-Getting shot in the forehead 4 times throughout the war

-very overgrown field- killed dart recovery

-Getting pinned down by an AT multiple times

I had a great time chillaxin' in the cancer shack smoking hooka with everybody, and I finally got around to finishing my bbb/doubleshot combo which was also nice. The war had nice weather and a pretty nice turnout, at least by Minnesota standards, so that was a good time too.

Now I am super tired and going to bed to get some sub-optimal sleepage!

I also have some really really shitty war footage of the first two round where we had yet to figure out teams or mobstacle placement. There is a lot of standing and doing nothing for 30 out of the 50 mins of footage.

In my defense I was expecting it to be 2-door civic small, not half that size, haha. It was comfortable enough once you got yourself crammed in correctly though.

We probably should have taken a picture, I got some really weird looks from the toll booth operators when I was laying in the backseat on the way back.

Not the best, but definitely a lot of fun.

+New location, no police
+More mobstacles, getting closer to how many we actually need
+cheerios being an awesome help securing the location and helping us clean
+RBP Rev 2 worked extremely well
+Broken, Kid Flash, and Wicket, glad you guys could make it
+++Effeminate build weekend w/ Stark, Paul, and Derek, edwards!
+Weather turned out to be great all day
+Had enough darts but,
-Grass was overgrown because George's mower broke, led to shitty ammo recovery
-Not knowing what the hell we were doing at the new location for half the war
+Figuring out what we're doing wrong and having some sweet rounds towards the end
-Breaking for food because we were going to die
-Clean up for every war blows, ~2 hours
-No wind, then supa' wind

Thanks again to everyone who came out, especially the guys out of state. We will be returning the favor soon.

+/- Location was smaller than I would have liked but was good for fast-paced rounds
+/- Prototype blaster didn't work well, but does function as designed
+/- ROAD TRIP ..in a small car

- Gnats
- Significant down time between some rounds




Fun fact; the nearest 7 11 is nearly 400 miles from where I live.
