AWW CRAP THERE COMMING!!!! IM SCARED AS HELL!!!!
WATCH OUT EAST US!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The last time they covered the Washington area was in 1987. Remnants of cicadas covered roadways and sidewalks. Residents pulled them out of their hair. And the bugs drove some outdoor events, like weddings and graduations, inside.

EDIT: Mr. Garretson said he has a plan of his own for the cicadas:
"I'll get my tennis racket out, I guess." ..."you come back with four or five in your tennis racket after each swing"

LOOK AT ARTICLE

If anyone is confused these are coming to all of US east cost. Not just where the article is from.

At DCN's war on Friday we must all ally to kill the damn bugs.

Or be consumed by them and be eaten alive, just like in The Mummy.

Uh, heres a little info. All the cicadas are here for is well, I'll put it bluntly. They're only here to fuck eachother, lay thier eggs, and die.
  • cicadas do not bite
  • They do not attack you, they may fly at you, but they are docile animals
  • They fuck, and die, so don't kill them
  • Never use pesticides on them, you'll be messing with a lot of birds, mammals, reptiles, and other animal species
  • One male cicada makes as much noise as an 18hp lawn mower. About 90 decibles
  • They are not locousts. They are in the family of grasshoppers and locousts, but, are only cicadas

Those are some cool facts. Though I can probably say that nobody thought they bite here. Thell be everywhere. Killin them wont be bad because they are so abundant that even if everyone joined in they will still come back strong.

Sorry for the double post i must have hit back.

They fuck then die? Shit man, thats rough. Well, they have it better than the male mate of a Black Widow, I suppose. Death seems like a fair trade-off to being eaten by your wife.

cicadas, are a common site in summer around most places, 'spec Australia, and its true, they dont mean shit, unless in plague proportions, you might see one in a mid-air dogfight with a bird, and a coupla' hundred empty shells clinging to trees, but all they do is make a shit load of noise [what defines an aussie summer] and urinate on you from in the air [hey, its true] ....

dont know why yuo would kill them, but those X-mas beatles are another matter

I dont know what an xmas beetle is. But the point of this thread was becuse there gonna be in

plague proportions

And if you live on the east coast of US you are gonna have them on you, step on them (not on purpose) and even see a

a mid-air dogfight with a bird

. In the us cicadas come every year but this one comes every 17 and this is the 17th year. They are called brood x. Black wth red eyes and everywhere.
