So I've taken a basic DiskShot Sidearm, did the basic mods, and have now turned it into a rifle. That's all fine and dandy, but the spring keeps on getting past the little blocker thing, and not cocking properly. So I'm wondering what any possible solutions are, I've thought about gluing it to the back.

Too small? Mine are always too big, only one is the perfect size. Sorry, no pics, I'm in bed with my iPod.

He's saying that the spring is winding into the catch area, messing with the catch. I'd say to make sure you have some pre-compression in the spring and to put the spring in the half of the shell with the end entirely in the well (Not poking out) then you can put the other half of the shell on, and make sure to really tighten the screws by it. This should stop the spring from winding through the walls.

Thats what I've been trying yet for some reason it still wants to do this. It only gets about 2-3 shots off then it dislodges, I'm taking pictures now.

Make sure the spring is behind the holder behind the catch. It keeps the spring in place. Replicate the good internals and your problem should be solved.

Another thing is that your spring may have to small of an outer diameter so it can squeeze behind the spring rest.

Take a washer thats bigger than the spring, but smaller than the plunger rod (if possible), take the plunger head and the spring off, put it before the catch on the plunger rod, then reassemble. The washer should be on the plunger tube side of the barrier, not the catch side, but that should take care of it as long as the inner diameter of the washer is smaller than the diameter of the spring.

I actually did get it to work, but if it happens again, I will use that method, sounds very effective.
