I'm pretty much a definite for now, but personally, I don't think that a 3-4 person war (Dizzy, Sharvil, posible Landstricker, and me) would be very fun. Hoperfully more people can come, or others can bring guests.

If I do end up going, I'll be looking for a stock (or somewhat stock, at least) sawtooth and/or any other fun/vintage/good blasters (ie. EaB?) I will also be looking to buy/trade for a
-stock AT3K
-some felt tips
-some PETG (as much as possible)
-a wye
-Possibly a non-lever trigger 4B, if I get a good offer
Please PM me with any offers/deals.

I have basically all of that. I'm sure we will be able to work something out.

Cool, because I might be interested in some of your stuff.

DizzyDuck- put me down as a definite.

Put me down as a definite. This will be my first war, so I am really looking foward to it! :D

I'm going to try to sort all of these darts tonight... I think most of them will be packed for the war.

Edit: If anyone wants to borrow some, PM me and I'll set some aside for you.

As long as we're talking about darts..
I currently have about 200 dome darts (single BB) made, and I'll be making another 100 Gumdrop darts (assuming the process goes well, which I'm working on right now), and most likely be bringing some to show around/give away @ the war.

Sharvil- I'd definetely be interested in trading some darts for a couple of those beige/white/black foamed stefans, if you'd be ok with it. :)

Chaos, you want to trade your darts for my darts? I might trade some of my darts (not the white ones, they are mine) for some gumdrop darts if they turn out well. It would probably be better if you trade me other stuff for the darts.

Not a lot, just one or two, since I'm interested in seeing how the foam is. :P
I just did my first pour batch of gumdrops, and they turned out pretty well. I may have to modify the design a bit, though.

Sorry for the double post, but I was afraid that if I just did an edit, no one would see it...

The war is 2 days away! I'm so pumped, eve though there's only gonna be 5 people there (as of now). :P

Sharvil: My gumdrop heads are turning out very nicely! If you're ok with it, I'd be interested in trading a few gumdrops for a few of your non-gray darts (maybe around 5). I will also be bringing some gumdrops to show around.

Yeah, we only have 5 for this. I'm debating whether or not to cancel/postpone. Does it really make sense for me to shell out the $18 for the bus trip to DC and the $18 back to host a war where only 4 people are going to show up?

I'll let you all know tomorrow.

I think we should keep it on, because we've already postponed it enough times. We can do more wars in the summer with more people.

I agree with lanstricker, we have already cancled/postponed it 2 times.

Chaos: I will definetly trade some of my darts for yours at the war.

If anyone has an extra/spare 1/2in pvc endcap, would you mind bringing it to the war? I got a full hopper and I just need 1 endcap for it (Thanks Buff). I hope to see all of you at the war tomorrow!

Sounds good! I've got lots of random PVC parts lying around, and I have a few endcaps. I'll bring a round one for you tomorrow.

Just got home from the war. It was pretty fun, except for the fact that there were only three people :P.
I guess, even though it was more of a "gathering" than a "war," it's still appropriate to do pros and cons...

Pros-
-Getting so much stuff from Landstricker-foam, a wye, PETG, felt tips, 3K, etc.
-Getting to meat Landstricker and Sharvil-they're great guys!
-Getting to pwn Landstricker and Sharvil with my Snapbow :P
-Lots o' hoppah action!
-Sharing my gumdrop darts
-That hilarious little kid, who, after seeing we had Nerf guns, went home and got a Mav and Recon, and approached us. :P
-Getting darts from Sharvil and Landstricker
Cons-
-Forgot my water (a mistake I will NEVER EVER make again-I was parched :P)
-Only 3 people (4-6 people would have made the war more fun)
-Too much barrel tapping ("surrender" was probably the most commonly used word throughout the 3-15 rounds lol)

Overall, it was a very fun event, and I'm glad I went. Sharvil, Landstricker, and I plan to start a series of monthly tune-up wars, similar to BAFF. Expect a thread pretty soon.

I'm sorry I couldn't make it. I had a championship baseball game on the 4th, just if the date didn't change... But I'll be looking forward to the monthly wars, I'll make the next one.

It was a great war overall... It was great to nerf again after 6 months!

Pros-
-Getting to meet Landstricker and Chaos
-Getting me PAS from Landstricker
-Getting to pwn Landstricker and Choas with my PAS
-Lots o' hoppah action!
-Getting to see gumdrop darts
-That hilarious little kid, who, after seeing we had Nerf guns, went home and got a Mav and Recon, and approached us.
-Getting darts from Chaos
-Foam and hotglue
-shooting Landstricker and Chaos in the but/ass 2 times with my PAS

Cons-
-I was 2 hours late
-My Sm1.5K sprung a leak on the way to the war
-Not getting my snapbow in time for the war
-Dizzy (the host) not showing up !
-My NF breaking
-Not bringing my camera
-The whole "Surrender" thing messed the whole thing up

Overall, it was a very fun event, and I'm glad I went. Chaos, Landstricker, and I plan to start a series of monthly tune-up wars, similar to BAFF. Expect a thread pretty soon.

I couldn't make this war, but the thought of having more wars in the area excites me. We usually have people that want to war in the area, just nobody that wants to orchestrate them. So the more people that are willing to host the better, in my book.

Phree, while me, Landstricker, and Chaos were at the war, we were deciding to start a "BAFF" style war (monthly war) here in the DC/DMV area. Anyone interested in doing something like that?

As I stated before, I'm in for a baff style here in dmv.

I am totally down for supporting something like that. Unfortunately, I don't live THAT close to be able to make a bi-monthly kind of thing. BUT, I do live close enough to maybe come out once a month or once every 2 months.

My point is that if there are more wars, I will come, I just can't commit to driving 2+ hours two times a month consistently.

Monthly wars would be cool. But like Phree I live about 2 hours away so I could only go once every 1 to 2 months.
