Hey, I'm new to the NH boards, but I'm a regular over at NC and NHQ. Here's my question: Everybody always is talking about how they got some great guns at thrift stores. I went to some last week and found nothing. What stores do you got to? Help me out here.

Good Will, and other assorted stores. YOu gotta check back at stores often man. Some good wills entire toy dection can change in a week or something. So if ones pretty close to you, check it back once a week if you can. I have gotten a Sm1500, wildfire, and lightning blitz at some thrift stores. Just take your time and look around.

Check garage sales and disount store also. Sometimes you win, sometimes you dont.
But the place where I always get my guns is friends. Ask kids at your school if they have any old nerf guns. Ask them if they will sell or trade it to you.

I know, I got a SMLE 2500 from a kid at school for $10. It's weird, I know there are several kids at my school with crossbows collecting dust in their basement. They just don't know its worth.

There is a goodwill down the street from here. w00t for me. I found an atari there once, it was cool.
Do you have the papers...?
No, but I have a big [BLEEP] gun. That's good enough for me!

If anyone was wondering, I'm RoboNerfer from NO. And I'm U.n.c.u.T.! on NerfHQ.

I found a Manta Ray at Goodwill. Since part of it didn't work, I took out the springs, and put one in my LNL.

Yeah, it's hard for me to check the stores though. I don't have a license, and I have school Mon-Fri. And the thrift stores are closed on the weekends. I barely ever get to check. I can't call cause the clerk is always like, "Nuff? Neef? Shooter gun toy? Oh, Nerrrrf. You'll have to come look."
