Can someone explain to me why threads in the off-topic section are being locked? I don't understand how an "off topic" thread is locked in the off topic section, it just doesn't make sense.

This is Nerfhaven. Posting a thread in the off-topic section, unless it is something exceptionally E-F-F-E-M-I-N-A-T-E (dang filter), is simply giving the admins a chance to punch you in the dick for their amusement. Plain and simple. The off-topic section is a trap and a lie. It is like Cake. It promises fun and happiness and brings you only trouble and the occasional painful/lethal incinerator-related accident.
